Hey! Emma here 💕. So just a quick authors note, this is my first ever Tyrus fanfic so enjoy ;) I know you guys don't like when things move too fast or too slow so I'll try to speed up the pace but not too much . Anyways I'll shut up now. Enjoy the book 💕💕

Cyrus POV.

I ran. I ran faster than I even knew I could run. I didn't know where I was going but I just knew I had to get out of there.

The park. It was the closest place to where I was . I ran ignoring my surroundings and just sat on the swing my knees to my chest humming a song to calm myself down.

" do you normally sing on the equipment or is it just the swings?"

I jump and turn around. Sitting next to me is a tall boy smiling at me with a crooked grin.

" hey TJ "

" well hello , friendly "

" sorry I just have a lot on my mind "

" wanna talk about it? "

YES. Yes I did but a part of me knew I shouldn't. Boys like TJ cause trouble and that was the last thing I needed. Don't get me wrong , he's my friend it's just. I don't know.

" yes. no. I don't know. "

" tell me about it little muffin "

I smile at the nickname.

" well , Jonah and Andi are dating and I just kind of liked Jonah but I could never admit that to Andi. She's head over heels for him. And now I just feel so heartbroken. " I ramble.

"Soo, you're gay?"

I laugh. Of course that would be the first thing TJ said.

" yes TJ, I'm gay."

TJ nods as if accepting it.

" have you told Jonah how you feel?"

I shake my head. How could I ? He'd think I'm a freak and it would ruin our friendship.

I hear my phone buzz and I check the Ultimate Buds Gang

Andi😊 : Hey Cyrus where are u? I thought u were coming to the spoon with us?
Buffy🏀 : Yeah Cyrus where are you? Not cool man
Cyrus🌈 : Relax guys, I won't be able to make it * dramatic gasp * I know it's hard news to bear. Anyways, I'm with TJ.
Buffy🏀 : TJ!?!?!
Andi 😊: Yeah, TJ!?!?
Cyrus 🌈 : Be nice, and Buffy arent you his tutor?
Buffy🏀 : Yeah I just wanted to make a dramatic effect.
Cyrus🌈 : 😂

I switch my phone off and put it in my pocket. I look up at TJ.

" sorry about that. My friends are being protective "

( sorry I had to pause MY DEMON STEP SISTER JUST WALKED OVER TALKING TO A PEICE OF PAPER AND I WAS LIKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING AND SHE SHOWED ME THE PAPER AND THERE WAS A FUCKING ANT ON IT AND SHE THREW IT ON ME AND SHE SAID IT WAS CALLING MY NAME)

" hey , wanna go somewhere? "

" where "

" my hideout "

" TJ has a HIDEOUT? "

" shut up "

TJ POV

I guide Cyrus to a small clearing in the woods. His face of eager warms me up.

" a tree house?!?!?! "

I laugh. I had built this place with my dad before the accident , I guess I always came here when I needed a place to think.

" oh TJ! It's amazing! But, really high up " Cyrus shivers. I laugh .

" c'mon, I'll be right behind you "

" are you sure that ladder is safe? "

"Cyrus."

" okay okay I'm moving , I'm moving "

When he gets up I can hear a gasp

" pretty cool , huh?" I ask casually.

" no, there's a spider! "

" oh well I can uh-"

" of course it's amazing idiot! "

I laugh. He explores around before collapsing on a rainbow beanbag, of course he chose that one.

I really wanted to find out more about the Jonah situation. But I couldn't ask. That was nosy.

" it's ok. I know you want to know more "

I sigh , relieved

" ouch, you got me "

" one question. "

I laugh at his attempt to be fierce.
I clear my throat getting more serious again.

" do you still like him? "

Cyrus makes a face as if to say he didn't know. I nodded as if I understood. I didn't. I wasn't gay.
Time flies as we play games and just talk. About anything. Im actually kind of sad when he leaves. As he leaves my friend Jack walks up the ladder.

" dude, what are you doing hanging out with him?"

I look at him confused.

" what do you mean "

" he's a f*ggot. We don't associate with those freaks."

I feel my blood boiling

" He's not a freak , Jack."

" yeah, you'd say that wouldn't you?"

" he's my friend "

" yeah right. I've seen the way he looks at you. He's gay that one."

" and so what if he was? "

" your choice. F*ggy or us."

And with that , he leaves.
