You Never Know Who You Can Trust

A/N: Before I start. I just want you all to know this is not a love story. I'm trying to expand my writing skills. And I'm obsessed with horror movies and scary games so I decided why not write a horror story. And if I epicly fail at it then... So be it! Haha. All the characters in this story are my cousin and her friends so they are real people. Haha I don't exactly know how they all act except my cousin. So I will probably fail at their point of views but oh well! On with the story! Haha. Oh! And it will take place in 2014 considering that will be their senior year in high school. And my cousin and her friend fought over who'd be the main character. Her friend won. Haha. So here it goes. Attempt 1 at a horror story!

Prologue

Egao Asato

September 1, 2014

"Senior year!" I cheer and feel eyes on me. I look at the four people who were just staring at me. "What?" I asl and they shrug.

"You're so weird Egao." Elizabeth comments as we walk into the school gates.

"And like your not?" Mariah questions.

"Ah I never said that did I?" Elizabeth counters.

"But you didn't deny it either." Mariah smirks, stating her final and winning case. Elizabeth pouts and sighs.

"Whatever. I agree with Egao. It is finally senior year! After this school's over for good@ Thank god." Elizabeth screams and does some weird dance. I laugh and so do the others and her cheeks tint a light red.

Then she scurries off quickly to the breakfast lines and all of us follow.

"Hi! I'm Haley, I'm new." A girl chirps as she sits beside me. I look up from my ASL notebook to look at the blond sitting beside me.

She stares at me, smiling a huge mega-watt smile and I smile back.

"Hi Haley, I'm Egao. But you can call me Egg or whatever." I say and she giggles.

"Egg sounds so weird." She says and I shrug.

"I guess it does, I don't know. I like it." I say and she nods.

"Well that's cool. Its eccentric." Haley says and I nod slowly then look down at my notebook again and go back to drawing.

"So she called you eccentric?" Liz asks as she takes a bite out of her peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

"No she said my nickname is eccentric." I say and she rolls her eyes then mutters, "She's eccentric." I laugh slightly and she finishes her sandwich and sighs.

"I'm still hungry." Liz whines and I look at her. "What? I am! I'm gonna go buy food from the vending machine. I'll be back." She says, getting up from her spot on the bench. I look up at the sky, waiting for her. It sucks because we're the only ones with first lunch. Stupid Mariah, Jonathan, and Samuel have second lunch. Of course.

"Hey! Can I sit here?" A voice snaps me out of my random thoughts. I glance up and see Haley, motioning to where Liz's spot was.

"Uh sorry. My friend's sitting there." I say and I see something in her eyes. Something... Cold. Dark. Evil.

"But... Okay..." She trails off and walks away. I feel slightly guilty and I sigh.

Elizabeth Kim

I start walking back towards Egao when a girl shoves me out of her way. I growl and the girl glares at me.

"Did you growl at me?" She asks.

"Did you shove me?" I ask, ignoring her question and she just rolls her eyes when suddenly her eyes flicker to my binder. Photos of Egao, Mariah, and me. Her eyes flicker with something. A look that sent chills down my spine. A look I couldn't put my finger on.

Suddenly her eyes were bright and she looked completely innocent.

"Hi. I'm Haley." The girls says, smiling warmly. I raise an eyebrow. Is this chick bipolar or something?

"Hi... I'm Elizabeth..." I say and she smiles.

"Nice to meet you." She chirps then walks away. Okay. What the hell was that?

I sigh and shake my head just as the bell rings. I look at the cookie in my hand and I pout then scarf it down quickly, walking back to Egao.
