Chapter 11

Izumi P.O.V.

I watched Natsumi-nee and Natsu-nii. They were having a staring contest, I have no idea why but I just went with it. Not like I could have stopped them anyway. I watched as things got heated, I mean they've been at this for 10 minutes and neither have blinked. Natsumi-nee's eyes weren't watering, but Natsu-nii's was. Natsu-nii screamed and blinked and wioed his eyes. Natsumi-nee burst into a fit of laughter, and blinked normally.

"I told you Natsu-nii, and you didn't believe me. Well, neither did Igneel and he wound up the same way. Grandine smacked him though, and Kaori couldn't stop laughing at his stupidity, I mean she and Roland are the ones who taught me not to blink." Natsumi-nee said triumphantly. I sighed at both of their stupidity.

"Are you guys done with your stupid staring contest?" I asked, and they both glared at me.

"We needed to pass the time Izumi." Natsu-nii said.

"But why a staring contest? Out of anything you two could do, you chose a staring contest." I said.

"We were bored and we wanted to see who would win." Natsumi-nee said. I signed and didn't argue. There would be no point and I would get confused somewhere down the line.

"Why are we waiting again?" I asked. Natsumi-nee sighed and Lucy groaned. No one even bothered to answer my question. How rude.

"Wendy." I said. She looked at me from the floor. She was laying on her back staring at the ceiling.

"Izumi." She said, not once glancing from the ceiling. I looked up at the ceiling. There was nothing that peaked my interest.

"How's the ceiling?" I asked.

"Fascinating." She replied sarcastically. She was only sarcastic and non-polite when talking to me. Its kinda funny really.

"That bored huh?" I asked. She gave me the 'No-shit!' look. I rolled my eyes and stared up at the ceiling as well. I started to imagine all the shapes and everything, but that didn't help anything.

"Nii-chan. Nee-chan." I complained. I got no response. "Onii-chan!" I complained louder. I could practically see the tick mark on Natsu-nii's head. "Onii-chan!" I complained again.

"Will you shut up! I heard you the first time!" Natsu-nii yelled. I flinched and Natsumi-nee noticed. Natsu-nii was smacked across the back of the head and smashed into the floor.

"Be nice to Izumi! She's our little sister after all!" She yelled.

"Aye!" Natsu-nii squeaked. He wasn't very good with dealing with people who scared him senseless. That included Natsumi-nee, Erza, Mira, and sometimes Lucy! Lucy can be very scary when she's in a bad mood. I heard about it from Mira! She's really nice. I don't get why she's called 'The Demon'.

"Ne, Natsu-nii." I said.

"Hm?" He answered.

"Why do you think we got transported here to Edolas?" I asked.

"Well, for sure we're going to get everyone at the guild back! And probably because we're the only ones who can save them. We are powerful after all." He said.

"Yeah, maybe that's it." I said.

"Don't think about it too much." Natsumi-nee said. She placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled down at me. I smiled back up at her and turned to Wendy.

"Wendy! Play with me!" I said. I startled her and she finally quit staring at the ceiling.

"No, this is too important." Wendy answered. She was dead serious. I sighed and let out a groan. "Izumi, quit complaining. You're a Dragon Slayer." She said, still in her serious mode.

"But I'm also a Wolf Slayer! We wolves don't like being bored!" I said. I saw Wendy roll her eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me! You know how I am!" I complained. Wendy sighed and shook her head. "Ne, Wendy, do you think Carla, Happy, Aria, and Kira are doing?" I asked suddenly. The four cats had left long ago.

"They're fine. They're Dragon Slayers exceeds after all. They're going to be fine. Especially with Kira being able to transform." Wendy answered.

"That's why my cat's the best." Natsumi-nee grinned. We all rolled our eyes at her, even Lucy! Who doesn't have a cat! Unless you count Happy, cause Lucy's so close to Natsu, if you catch my drift.

"Take back what you just said." Wendy whispered. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked. Natsu-nii and Lucy were red. Natsumi-nee was laughing so hard, I thought she was going to suddenly die.

"Did I say that out loud? My bad." I said. Lucy was clearly blushing, Natsu was red because he was mad, but I think he's smarter than he lets on.

"Take that back too!" Wendy said.

"I need to quit talking out loud!" I exclaimed. Natsumi-nee was rolling on the floor by now. "It's not funny! I didn't mean to say that!" I said. This clearly wasn't going to end right away.
