Chapter 6

I woke up as as sunshine went in my eyes and stated burning my skin. I got up quickly and ran all the way to a dark part of the room. "Rex, shut the curtains now." I said. Rex wasn't in here. There was sunlight all over the room....except in the closet where I was at.

Where the heck was Rex? "Rex!! Shut the curtains now!!" I yelled in an angry tone. Then that's when I saw it.......I saw fresh red blood all over the floor. Was that Rex's blood? "REX!!!! IF YOU ARE HERE ARE YOU OK??!!" I yelled. I was scared now. Did someone kill him. I shuddered at the thought. A tear trickled down my cheek at the thought of it. "REX!!" I yelled. Me yelling his name was no use......he wasn't here. I had to get to the door.

I ran all the way to the door and opened the door really fast and shut it quickly. I looked at my skin......it was burnt only for a few seconds before it healed. There was no sunlight except in that room.........weird. I ran all the way downstairs. There was blood splattered all over the walls everywhere. Did the guy who killed or captured and tortured Rex get his family too? The phone rang.

I picked it up. "I'm sorry whoever this is, but I have to find the only people I have left in my life." I said. "Good you mentioned that......I have them right now as a matter of fact." A guy said. "You have them! What did you do to them?! Leave them alone!" I said as tears formed in my eyes. "Come to the condemned apartment on the end of the street you are on and then we will go from there. "Can I hear their voices so I know you aren't lying about this?" I said. "Sure." The guys said.

"Hello, Rex? Are you there?" I said. "Yes. But don't come here, he could kill you.....he already tortured me and my family. So don't come." He said in a weak voice. "I have to save you......I can't let you die." I said. "Just don't." He said. "I love you way to much to let you die." I said.

"Well come here soon or else they all die. And don't try to look around to much outside. It's kind of a mess out there.

Sorry my fault. I was so thirsty." He said before he hung up. I hung up. What the heck does he mean?

I ran to the front door , opened the door and walked outside. The place looked like a tornado had came through. All the homes were collapsed.....and the street had garbage all over it. And this place also looked like a massacre. There was dead people lying on the street and blood all over buildings......well what used to be buildings before they bit wrecked. I ran all the way to the only building that was standing......the condemned apartment on the end of the street. I walked up to the door, went inside.

Then there I saw was Rex tied up with rope and so was his mom and sister. It looked like they had been tortured this whole time. "REX!!!!" I screamed as I tried to run to him but something pulled me back and threw me against the wall.

"Well well well. If it isn't Tandra trying to get to Rex.....how stubborn of you. I'm gonna kill you both and you guys are gonna see you how you each die." He said smiling devilishly. Blood trickled down my forehead and onto the floor. "I may be stubborn, but I am strong enough to kill you." I said as I weakly got up to my feet. "GET AWAY FROM HER!!!!" Rex yelled. "Looks like we are gonna have a little fun ain't we?" He said. He sped towards me and punched me in my mouth and kicked me in my leg making me fall instantly. Blood trickled off my mouth. "Who are you? Because I am gonna kick your butt." I said. "You gonna kill me. I am your worst nightmare." He said.

Only one person said that. And that was the guy who killed my mom.....he was the guy who killed my mom! "You.....you killed my mom." I said. I was scared and angry at the same time. "Yes, and I have to finish my killing deeds since you escaped me." He said smiling devilishly. "You monster." I said. "Yeah.....and I was stronger than you at the time.....and I still am." He said. "No you aren't." I said. I knew I wasn't as strong as him but I was gonna give a shot at trying to kill him. I couldn't die not trying. "Well, let's see who is stronger." He said. "Let's." I said.

He tried to punch me in my side but I deflected that hit with my arm. I punched him in the mouth. Blood poured down. "Good shot. Let's see what else you got in ya." He said. He grabbed me by my hair and threw me against the wall. My head was throbbing from all the pain. I weakly got up to my feet. "STOP TANDRA!!! LEAVE HER ALONE YOU MONSTER!!!!!" Rex yelled. He kicked me hard in the stomach and punched me in my throat which made me fall instantly. "This is easy. You aren't as tough as you thought are you?" He said.

Then something unexpected happened. I quickly got to my feet, kicked him in the side and punched him in the throat which made him fall instantly. Blood poured out of his mouth. I extended out my fangs and my eyes turned black. They have never turned black before. I bit into his neck viciously. Blood spurted everywhere and his flesh showed. "HE'S NOT MOVING TANDRA!!!!" Rex yelled so I wouldn't drink too much and get out of control of myself. I stopped biting him and got to my feet. My fangs went back in and my eyes went back to brown. I ran over to Rex. I untied him, then I untied his sister and his mom. I went back to Rex.

"Hey." I said. I looked at myself. Blood was all over me. "You look like you got massacred." Said Rex. "Yeah, I think I know that." I said. "You could have gotten killed Tandra." Said Rex. "I know. But that was the chance I took to save you." I said. Well all I know is you are so crazy." He said. "Crazy in love with you." I said.

He grabbed me from my waist and pulled me into him. He started kissing me slow and gentle in my lips. I missed him so much. I kissed him back. We stopped kissing one another for a minute and just looked into each other's eyes. His mint green eyes looked into my brown eyes.

"Yeah, you saved us. Now can we go now?" Said moonlight sarcastically in a bitter tone. I pulled myself away from Rex and walked over to Moonlight. "I saved your dang life two times and this is how you treat me?!" I said in an angry tone. "I would rather die than have you save me you dumb brunette. I don't want you to love my brother or else." She said. "Or else what?" I said. "Of else I will tell your dad this and you can go to jail, you criminal." Said Moonlight. "Shut up Moonlight! I can't stand you anymore! I gave you so many chances to accept me being with your brother but I guess I won't give you no more chances." I said. "Uh huh. Like I care." She said. She made me so mad!

I punched her in the nose. Blood started coming out of her nose. "Oh heck no!!" She said. She punched me in the eye. Now I had a black eye. I punched her in the side. She punched me in the mouth. We went down to the floor punching each other. "HEY!!!" Rex's mom said. "STOP NOW!!!!" Rex said. Rex's mom grabbed Moonlight and pulled her away from me. Rex grabbed me and pulled me away from Moonlight. "Stop you guys before someone gets hurt." Rex said.

We heard a gunshot. We all turned around to where the noise came from. And there was my dad with a pistol up in the air. "I thought I told you to stay away from him!!" Said my dad as angry as ever. "You did, but I guess I didn't listen to you." I said. He have me the death squint. "You and him are coming with me to the castle in our town....,we have some things to settle." He said.

Us three walked all the way to the castle and arrived. We went inside and went up to my dad's office which was as huge as two large bedrooms. "Sit!" He demanded. He sat in his office chair. We sat in the two chairs that were in front if his office desk. And he was probably gonna give us a huge lecture of not to hang out with the other kind of put one of us on jail.....and I want gonna let that happen......I want gonna let anyone separate out love.......no one can separate a love as strong as this love. No one.
