The final battle (a miraculous tale)

New Hero: Part 2

Even though I know no one is reading this, sorry for the long break. I don't have an excuse, just didn't want to write 🤷🏽‍♀️

<New Heroin's POV>
After I said goodbye to the de-transformed Ladybug and Chat Noir I flew back up to the building they fell from to go after the Akuma.

Once I landed I grabbed my whip from around my arm and readied it for combat.

I looked around and spotted him jumping from rooftop to rooftop, probably on his way to HawkMoth to give him the miraculouses. I called out for my magic power, "Camouflage!" And turned invisible for the next few seconds.

I snuck up behind him and was able to get Chat Noir's ring out of his hand before he found me out and attacked. My Camouflage wore off and I only had 5 minutes before I was gonna transform back.

"Not so fast insect! You aren't getting these magic jewels so easily!" He said reaching for my cheek, "How about instead we find out all your imperfections."

I was ready for him though and grabbed his arm instead. "Not so fast Disappointment! You didn't think it would be that easy did you?" I asked him mockingly.

I pined his arm behind his back and grabbed my whip to trap him but he broke free and reached for my cheek. I dodged, barely, and flew up so it would be harder to reach me.

I tried again to rap my whip around him to trap him and it worked, but I knew it wouldn't hold for long. So I grabbed his hand with Ladybug's miraculous, I managed to get one earring, however he slipped away from my grip before I could get the other.

"This isn't over insect! I'll be back..." He ran off.

Despite my urge to follow him, I didn't. I only had a minute before I transformed back and that wouldn't be enough time to defeat him, not without help at least. So I flew down to a hidden spot where I could still see him and transformed back.

I quickly gave some food to my Kwami, Ace, and started following the Akuma by foot. It was difficult to keep up with him without any powers, but I managed.

He ended up going into the house of the famous fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste.

"Does this mean..." I looked over to Ace.

"Gabriel is HawkMoth?!" Ace and I said at the same time.

"Wow! What a twist! Chat Noir's dad is HawkMoth, such a scandal!" I said, taking a mental note for any future stories I plan on writing.

"There is no time to waste! We need to give Chat Noir his miraculous back so we can stop them!" Ace said, pulling me out of my head.

"You're right, lets go find them. Ace, Let's Fly!"

I transformed and went out looking for Ladybug and Chat.

<Adrian's POV>
My lady- Marinette, was still was in a trance. And with no Ladybug to fix all the damage I don't know if she will ever be back to normal.

How could I have been so stupid! Just handing him my miraculous?! If it weren't for that new hero we would both be dead right now. Maybe it would be better if someone else became Chat Noir, that is, if we can even get our miraculouses back.

Then, pulling me out of my pity party, I saw the new hero flying back our way.

She landed and pulled out my miraculous, "I was only able to get back your miraculous and one of Ladybug's earrings. But I know where HawkMoth is and with your help we can defeat him and get Ladybug's other earring back."

I started to reach for it, but pulled my hand back. "I can't. I messed up. I don't deserve it. I was reckless and just handed it over to the Akuma. If I was smarter I would have thought of a better plan, I could've saved-"

"No." She interrupted me.

"What?" I asked, confused.

"No! Stop saying those awful things about yourself! You gave up your miraculous to try and save Ladybug, there was nothing else you could have done. If you didn't give it up Ladybug would have fallen and possibly died."

"But-"

"No 'but's.' You are Chat Noir. You are the only hope to save Ladybug and all of Pairs! I can't do this alone." She said, still holding out the ring.

I stared at it for a few moments. Then, hesitantly, I grabbed it and put it back on.

Plagg flew out, "glad to see you again buddy," I said to him.

"Yeah, just don't give me away again ok?" He replied smugly.

And without further ado, I said, "Plagg, Claws out!"
