I laid on my bed, waiting for the alarm clock to go off. Waiting for that dreaded, aggravating, constant sound to fill my ears. Today, I just so happened to wake up ten minutes before my buzzing nuisance went off.

Not enough time to go back to bed, nor enough time to make me get up.

Then again, no amount of time could get me up.

So now, I'm just laying in my bed, wishing that I could've slept for the last 10 minutes of my freedom. The worst part was, it was a Monday,
not just any Monday,

First day Freshman Monday.

That's right. It's my first day of high school. Haven't even started yet and I already wanna die. I don't even kn-

Wait.

I take it back.

That wasn't the worst part.

The worst part is,
I'm a transfer from The Falcon Claw School System.
(Or wherever you want. It's your story not mine :P)
I'm a transfer freshman.
Really can't get much worse than that.

My alarm clock finally ringing broke my thoughts.
I groaned, blindly tossing whatever was closest to me in the direction of my alarm. I heard a loud thunk and the sound of cheep plastic hitting the ground along with what I threw.
(Throw what you want. Heck, it could be an axe)

I felt a small grin creep up on my face and my tail beginning to wag softly.

I just made a no looker at 6:00 in the morning.

I eventually grudgingly rolled out of bed and got ready, taking a quick shower, putting on my new uniform which had way too short of a skirt, and pulling up my hair into a (H/s).
I also brushed my ears and tail because they looked like total rat nests.

Finishing up, I glanced at myself in the mirror, making sure I looked okay. You know, so I won't be blackmailed later on. The usual.
"Okay. I look presentable."
I walked downstairs sluggishly to the kitchen, thinking I had plenty of time to maybe make some toast and talk to mom a bit. I got to the bottom of the stairs to see a note on the counter. Hmmmm... suspicious. I must investigate. I walked over to get a closer look to see it was from mom.

(Y/n),  I have to leave for work. I'm sorry that I'm not home for your first day as a freshman, but time waits for no one! See you later tonight. I love you so so so so much!
-Mom

Awww. How sweet. Wait. I thought she had to leave at 7:15? It's only 7:05, right? I checked my phone.

Yep! It's 7:17

Wait...

7:17?!?!?!!!!?!?!
IM GONNA BE LATE!!!!
