Mason's - [P.O.V]

I woke up the next day to see myself over the bed, all dressed up in a night sleep wear, Mr. Edwin sat by my side as well.

"Edwin... What happened?" I asked.

"You almost killed yourself young Master, I understand your pain but is punishing yourself worth it, how about the people you brought yourself low to be with who have cast you away?" He added.

"I'm sorry housekeeper, I just had to punish myself, my father would have beaten me anyways for being so stupid." I explained before he held me up.

"My injuries...?" I looked at myself confused, remembering I had brutalized myself so how come... Am I still intact?

"I gave you a traditional medicine, there are some things about the Mason family you will learn at a later time, for now I will advise you to distract yourself to heal, if indeed you will listen to my advice." Mr. Edwin said with a worried look at me.

He has always played a father role in my life, Perhaps I should listen to him, he obviously has good experience too.

"Tell me, what should I do to distract myself with Edwin, I'm deeply regretful and I need to move on fast to avoid getting infected by emotional weakness." I pleaded, with a bow to him.

"Alright, Our Company, at the State's Villa, Coscharis Incorporated worth over $40 Billion dollars needs some operation oversight, you can go there and do some business relationships, what do you think?" He added, giving me a warm smile.

"Sounds like a good idea, alright, I'd prepare and Head there." I added.

"Although before you proceed over the healing process, we got a call today from your personal line." He added.

"Okay, and who called?" I asked.

"Well It was Clara Nadac!" He replied, making my heart beat immediately.

Woah! Is her torture not enough?

"What did she call to ask?" I demanded.

"She sent this Voice mail." Mr. Edwin said as he looked at me worried.

"Well what are you waiting for, Play it." I ordered before he played it.

"I can't Believe you will be this pathetic! I saw everything, the collar, the dirty letters, you're a freak, A Leech! You deserve to be disgraced, you poor loser!" The voice note soon ended as I stood shocked.

At this Point I was the one now Irritated.

I didn't even know she was this Annoying and Disturbing, Haven't I left?

I listened, getting Pissed Off!

"Edwin, what do you think is wrong with her?" I asked him worriedly.

"Young Master, Money changes people." He briefly reminded me before my attention shifted back to the details.

"This means she must have seen my box which contained letters from different Top admirers in the city, with her neck collar which she gave me when I was little... How did that not seem special to her?" I asked myself, as I stared at Mr. Edwin.

Could it be that she doesn't even care anymore about how our love started with the Collar when we met as Kids? How could she send such a heartless message after seeing that Collar?

Perhaps she actually doesn't give a Fuck.

"Mr. Edwin, indeed, I think I really need to distract myself, I signed her divorce papers, why can't she just forget about me?" I asked and he came to pat me.

"Young Master, I feel your pain, I too didn't expect that after everything you did for her, she would hate and discard you this way, the fleet to take you to the company will be waiting for you." He said.

"You know Mr. Edwin, this reminds me of the Past on how I met Clara years ago... I always thought she was my missing rip but I was really, really wrong." I added.

"But Young Master, you were so persistent to find her, what does her scalf got to do with your marriage with her?" Mr. Edwin asked me as I looked back at him.

"Remember... Years ago, when I was just a little boy, when dad gave me the family medicine, that I reacted differently and had to run off home because I was scared I would infect you guys." I asked.

"Yes, I remember that time, but why did you run?" Mr. Edwin added.

"Alright... After almost Dying in the snow, I couldn't speak but sit with my Throat getting freezed up by the harsh weather, I swear I wanted to return home but I couldn't just bare infecting my family and disappointing Dad so I decided to let the medicine which became a poison in my body to just kill me alone." I said.

"And?" He added.

"Well, that was when I met Clara... She was like an angel come from heaven, after pleading with her to stay away from me, she forced her way into me, Wrapping my neck with her scarf and asking me not to give up on myself and It was from there that I fell in love, vowing to find her and when I did find Her, I married her." I said to Edwin who sat over a stool.

"True, I remember after that you returned to be someone totally different and I also remember how many years you stayed single and alone searching the entire world for a little girl you met as a Kid, but why is Clara Pissed at you for having it?" Mr. Edwin asked, concerned.

"Exactly, that is what I also do not understand as well, she really changed and I won't say I regret trying to have a marriage with her but I'm happy, at least I did try to help her make good fortunes." I said to Mr. Edwin who smiled.

"You truly have an undiluted love for Clara, but what would you do now that she has other plans with another man? What if In the future her marriage or partnership with Mr. Bezos poses a death threat or defamation, I don't think you should take it lightly with her... She's a witch to be this ungrateful." Edwin added.

"Why do you say so?" I asked.

"Because at least she should see how much you love her... You paid 200 Million Dollars to find her using government agencies, you married this woman, cooked and cleaned for her, plus gave her money to start her company including supporting her business through Anonymous Contracts, and do you know what I dislike more about her!?" He asked.

"What's that?" I asked.

"The pride she has even after cheating on you with Mr. Bezos and for what? Money, hence Please young Master, forgive her, I believe they're better women out there for you." He said and I smiled at him.
