"Junsu-ah? Are you even listening?" she chuckles lightly.
"Huh?"
"you are in your thoughts again. Are you thinking about me?" a soft smile is found on her face.
A perfect soft smile.
A smile that makes me melt every time it appears on her beautiful face.
"sorry, I lost myself again."
"you seem so off lately. Are you okay?"
No.
"Yes. I'm fine. Just tired."
She gets closer and kisses me on my pitch black hair covering my forehead.
"please concentrate now. You know we have to get this song done as fast as we can."
She's ethereal.
"of course."

"what are you doing after school?"
"homework."
"well then you will probably be busy. Have a good rest day.
Take care of yourself."
She pecks me lightly on the lips leaving me speechless in the hall of our college.
I'm so sorry.

"hey minji! Wait up!" I run over to a dark brown haired girl sticking her nose in her phone completely probably reading something.
She takes out her earphones hearing her name.
Looking around she spots me running up to her dark-looking figure.
"what?"
"why are you so cruel?"
"oh sorry. Could you please explain me why you appeared in front of me, dear Kim Junsu?"
"sounds better." I grin.
"so? What is it?"
Her cap covering half her face and making her bangs stick out randomly in every direction of her face while she's trying to face me.
"I-, I don't know actually."
"well then" she leaves without hesitation.
"see you tomorrow." I shout right after her.
I wait a few seconds to see her turn around but she just rises up her tiny hand forming a peace sign as a reply to my goodbye.

"i love you, junsu."
I love you too.
"I know that, sumi."
Again a cute beam slips off her small careful rosy lips.

"why are you staring at me?"
"you seem uglier than normally. A new haircut?"
The dark haired girl gives me a death stare pulling her white bucket head down.
"i don't want to talk to you, so if you mind leaving-"
"I'm sorry. I was just curious."
"you look like a puppy but in ugly and stupid.
So not really a puppy oops."
I laugh sarcasticly.
"why are you so weird?, Song Minji."
"why are you not leaving me alone?, Kim junsu."

I love her.
I care for her.
But.
I know something she doesn't know.

"here you go."
"thanks, park sumi."
"everything for you. Junsu-ah."
I sip on the coffee cup sumi brought me minutes ago.
"what are your plans for today?"
"homework."
She chuckles but deep inside I know that I'm hurting her.
"it's all about a good future. I'm so proud of you, junsu.
Keep up with your good work!
I love you."
"thank you, sumi-ssi."
She goes.

"minji!"
"go. away."
Walking faster I try to catch up with the quiet energetic dark head.
"what if we could rewrite the stars?"
"leave."
"maybe there is a way."
"maybe you should just go and stop annoying me."
"but-"
"listen kid,
we can't change anything.
We can't rewrite the stars.
There is no such thing.
Just go to your girlfriend."

"hey.
Don't say that. There is always a way."
"not in this situation, junsu.
It's the fate, we don't choose by ourselves. We will have to stick to the rules."
"but that's not what you want."
"yeah that's why I'm ignoring it and you.
So go."
"if you think we can't change anything...why shouldn't we stick to the rules then?"
"you have sumi."
"don't think I will cheat on her ever again.
I would, could never do that to her."
"see, stay with her. She's nice."
"I will tell her differently..."
"junsu-"
I run off.

"are you okay?"
No.
"not really. I have to tell you something."
"what is it?"
"you know that we can't rewrite the stars, right?"
"I guess so.
I mean sometimes when people fight for it, they maybe could."
She's just everything.
I'm so sorry, sumi-ah.
"listen, sumi-ah."
"i understand, junsu.
I know. I was just waiting for you to say it already."
She gets hold of my hands smiling at me.
I hawk.
"I've recently found out who my real soulmate is."
"and? Who is it?"
I don't deserve her.
"it's song minji."
"oh.
Then you should go to her and tell her."
She's supportive even though her eyes tell me she's sad.
"hey junsu. I'm okay, I promise.
Don't worry. Go to minji and tell her.
I wish you the best as a good supportive friend from now on."
"are you sure?"
"I will wait until my soulmate appears. Just 2 months left. I will survive it junsu."
We both laugh slightly.
"i love you too, sorry that I've never told you."
Thin tears roll down her face as she still tries to keep her pretty beam on her face.
"tell that your soulmate, you dummy."

"minji! Minji!"
She's sitting on the ground, earphones on not hearing a single thing.
How am I supposed to date her?
"oh, you again. What surprise."
"me and sumi. We- we broke up."
I breath heavily speaking from all the running I was attending before arriving in the hall.
"you did what?"
"now we don't have to rewrite the stars."
"you suck."
"why is that?"
"you are leaving such a nice and caring girl, like sumi for someone like me?"
"well yeah obviously."
"haha, how stupid are you? She could be a great wife, partner, etc."
"but the fate said it's you. So it must be you.
Sumi would find her significant other in 2 months anyways. And you know it wouldn't be me."
"you suck."
She starts walking fast.
"hold on minji."
I grab her by the shoulder pulling her to face me.
"please let me love you."
"ugh junsu..."
"please."
For a while she keeps eyeing me intensely,
probably rethinking the whole situation going on right now.
"you suck."
But after saying these two oh so offensive words, she places her beige colored lips on mine.

Maybe rewriting the stars could've been possible but this time the fate completely won over me.
