Eight hours! I have to drive 8 hours to Miami, Florida, just because my mom decided to be a complete and utter bitch. I love her, but sometimes I wonder how people can stand her. She is controlling and manipulative. She seriously once made me break up with my boyfriend because apparently he was a... And I quote.. Low life little boy that doesn't deserve your attention. The thing is he was actually really sweet.
I was four hours into the drive when I decided to stop for something to eat. It was this burger joint, apparently they made the finest milk shake. I ordered a bacon, chicken sandwich with a vanilla shake. The diner was actually pretty cheap, the sandwich with the shake and fries cost 8 dollars. Now I'm back to driving.

The house is located in coconut grove A.K.A the richer part of Miami. Seriously, this house looks like a mansion and it's right next to the sea. Thank god the gate was already open, I drive through looking around where I see some decorations on the front yard. I parked my car in front of the front door and knocked twice.
"It's so good to see you!" Lucy exclaimed, once she opened the door. I'm so glad it's her the one I'm staying with.
"Hey, it's been a while" I responded
"You are going to love it here, my son can show you around and introduce you to some new friends" she squealed.
"Nathan" she called.
"What mom?" A tall guy said emerging from a small room to the side of the stairs.
"Remember the girl I was talking about well this is her. Natasha meet my son, Nathan", she gave her son a pointed look and told him to be nice, before leaving me and walking up the stairs.
"Oh great another bimbo. Don't worry, you will fit in perfectly with all the other girls at our school." Excuse him? I may be blonde, but I can assure him I'm not stupid.
"Excuse you. I don't know who you think you are but we just met so control the attitude." I guess he was a little stunned that I can actually speak up for myself. That is one thing that I probably don't have in common with the other girls from his school.
"This is my house so you follow my rules. First, don't you dare ever talk back to me. Second, don't fraternize with my friends. And third, what is mine is mine and doesn't get touched by you. Ok? Do I make myself clear?" I swear this guy needs to get slammed with reality. Is he really that spoiled?
"Why in heavens, earth, would I want to touch your shit?"
"Babe by tomorrow you will be like all the other girls that chase me around. They all want the attention I can give them for one night." I didn't need to know that. He does seem like the player type, though, and the leather black jacket makes him seem bad.
"You're a bit too cocky babe. Better watch what you say because I think you'll be the one falling for me." He laughed. It was a bit expected, but whatever. I mean I'm not ugly, I'm definitely no model, but I am a normal high school teen with blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Wanna bet? I bet you can fall for me faster than I can fall for you." He joked. Well, at least I'm hoping he's joking because I don't do love, I mean give me a book with a happy ending and I'm ecstatic but that's as far as my love life goes. I date, but as soon as I feel I'm falling for the guy I quickly break up with him or find a way for him to break up with me. All the relationships I've observed and experienced, end up badly, so why would I want to give it a try myself? Exactly, I don't.
"I'm not going to bet on that" I simply stated.
"Why not, scared you'll lose" he said.
"No, scared that I'll hurt you in the process of winning. Leaving me without a place to stay." I said smirking.
"You won't hurt me, doll face. So now what do you say, shall we make a bet?" He said. This guy just doesn't know when to quit.
"I said no and that's final" I turned around planning on walking in the direction, Lucy left, but Nathan had other plans. He grabbed my forearm and pulled me against his chest.
"I said no, damn it" I screamed, while digging my nails into his arm.
"Aw shit" I heard while walking off. Stupid dumb ass, doesn't know what no means, I thought to myself. Now to find Lucy and explore the new house.
