A peek in the past and an uncovered future

Flashback

A 21 year old woman,living in California goes to her closet looking for shoes when a book falls from the shelf. She opens it and begins reading:

"Hey I'm Jenny, I live in Los Angeles California and I am a..."

She realizes that it is her diary. She gets up,goes to her bed and starts reading the diary,page by page..this is what it says:

Hey I'm Jenny, I live in Los Angeles and I am a Sophomore at Delighton High School. This school is annoying, I want so much more for my life. That's why I pray God everyday for my dreams to come to life if it is His willing.

I have my best friend Leslie who makes the process a lot smoother. I love her! We've been through thick and thin and survived middleschool so I guess we will make it.

This summer went by so fast,I feel like I haven't done what I really wanted to do but you know the quicker you come back to school, the quicker the schoolyear will be over and Senior Year will be around the corner.

The 21 year old passes a few pages..

There is this new guy called Austin Mahone in my school this year and every girl falls for him. I mean I can understand that he is cute and all (I lowkey have a crush on him) but following him around is kind of weird.

I haven't had the chance to talk to him, the girls literaly create a crowd around him and he's a senior so yeah that's a downside but you know it's not like he's going to notice me!

A few pages goes by again

I am finally in College,it's actually a WE,Leslie and I are in College. It is crazy how the time went by so fast since our sophomore year.

We're both going to The University of California,Los Angeles! We made it,we both know it isn't going to be easy but we have each other even if it's not in the same department.

I am going to the Journalism and Communications department and Leslie is going to the business school which are on the opposite sides of the campus. So we are a little bit separated as we took apartments near our departments.

Our first days in College went by fast, we had a tour and met the whole school crew. The first week was a bit tough because the school hours are longer or way shorter and the classes are really long so I had to find a routine and organize myself. But otherwise people are really friendly and the TAs and professors can be too so i'm getting on the boat.

The woman, Jennyfer, closes the diary and sits down on her bed.  She starts smiling then hurries out of her room to go downstairs...
