Tony woke up to the sun shining through the cerulean curtains. He sat up and rubbed the sleep dust out of his eyes in a feeble attempt to wake himself up. In doing so, the door to the room opened and in came a very handsome man. But nothing in comparison to the man in his dreams.
"Good morrow young man. I am your doctor Kim Seokjin, but I would much prefer if you call me Jin. What is your name?"
Tony smiles nervously and rubbed his arm to quell his rising anxiety, "M-My name is Tony. Tony Mendoza. I apologize for being such a bother to you, I should head on out now." As he begins to rise out of bed, a hand pushes him back down, "No dear, you need to rest." A young man had silently come into the room during Tony's introduction, "My name is Matthew but Matt would do just fine."
Jin beamed with pride, "He is my assistant nurse. He may be new, but he was at the top of his class and is almost as gentle as I am."
Matt blushes under the praise, "D-Doctor I was sent here to inform you t-that his majesty will arrive shortly."
"Ah, splendid," Jin replied, "he will be able to explain everything better than me."
Tony looked at Jin with a baffled expression, "E-Explain what?"
Jin chuckled, "To explain why you are here of course. Normally he would send those he finds injured on the street to a normal doctor. Not once did he ever send them to me."
It all hit Tony like a ton of bricks. 'His majesty', 'normal doctor.' His face paled and his palms became clammy. All sound faded from his senses, as he fell deep into his mind.
"Oh no
Goodness no
Please don't let it be so!
I am in the King's palace
I am sleeping on his healing bed
A being like me has no right
To sleep soundly through the niiiiight!
I am filled with shame!
I must get out today!
In fact I will leave now!
I will not shame his majesty
I must make my escape!
Run away from this place!
And never return here
I must leaaave before heeeee
Coooooooomes!!!!"
A gentle hand shakes Tony from the midst of his panic, "Hello? Hello, Tony, are you alright?"
He opens his eyes for the second time that day. His eyes gaze into the same mono eyelids he had seen in dream.
"Y-Your Majesty!"
