As I get back from class on Halloween, the halls are full of half drunk uni kids, ready to hit the bars. We've spent the past three weeks looking for any lead on the person that might have Teddy, with no success. Luna was a major waste of time. Longbottom had no idea what we were talking about.

When I walk into my dorm, I find Draco sobbing over the old photos that were in the metal box. He hides his face from me and I move to comfort him "Hey, now!" I speak softly as I sit next to him. It's not the cute sobbing, like when he's minorly upset, but the ugly skull outlining sobs, that I only saw on the night Dumbeldore died.

He buries his face in my shirt and grips onto my clothes, as if I would leave him, too. As trembles out a sob, I get a look of the photos in his lap. Most are just of him, but a few of them show Narcissa hugging him, kissing his cheek or forehead, speaking to him, ruffling his hair, or playing little tricks or game.

"You haven't seen her yet." I state and he gives a high pitched whine "Draco, maybe we should go see her."  He shakes his head and I ask "Why not?"

He continues to weep against me, until his diaframe begins to spasm and he it jerks a noise out of him "She can't be dead yet, Harry!"

I nod, before moving the hair out of his face and stating "She's dead, babe. The longer you wait, the longer it is until her spirit can be at rest."

He whines again, before holding his face in his hands.

After Draco calmed down, he decided that he wanted Narcissa to pass on Halloween; the biggest wizard holiday. He dressed himself in a black suit, as if we were still in our sixth year.

"Mister Malfoy?" a doctor asks as she steps up to our group. Silently, Draco looks to her, emotionlessly. She gives a weak smile "When you're ready, we'll unhook her life support."

He looks towards her clipboard and asks "Are there papers I need to sigh to get her life support unhooked?" she gives a short nod and he states "I'm ready."

She walks back to the nurses station and I sigh "Draco, you don't need to rush this if you don't want to." the doctor walks back with another clipboard and a pen.

After Draco takes them, she explains "After life support is taken away, there might be rattling, and the body might move. It could take seconds, to minutes."

Draco looks to her and asks "Can I sit with her, after?" the doctor gives a polite nod, before Draco asks "Where do I sign?"

The doctor shows him where to sign and he doesn't skip a beat signing it. The doctor takes the clipboard from him and states "I'll be in in a moment to disconnect the machine."

She walks off and Draco stays completely numb. Ever since he saw her, he's been exactly the same; as if he only sees her as an object.

"Draco?" I ask and he doesn't move a muscle.

After a moment, he insists "I need to do this alone."

I scoff "If you think I'm going t-"

He cuts me short by bending down to stare me in the eyes. Both of his eyes are green as he threatens to transform right in the middle of the hospital "Get out!" he growls and I can feel adrenaline coursing throught my veins.

I take a shakey breath, before stating "I'll be in the waiting room with the Weasleys."

He straightens out and returns to how he was, before I walk out to join the others.

As soon as I get to the waiting room, Hermione asks "Where's Draco?" I speaklessly point back towards the room wing and she asks "Are you okay?"

I take a moment, before declaring "He, uhhh, signed the paper to take her off of assist life support." my knees buckle below me as I'm about to take a seat.

"Shouldn't we be in there with him?" George asks and I nod, before he asks "Why aren't we in there, then?"

I try to stop my lip from quivering as I state "He threatened to wolf out if we didn't let him be alone with her." they give a gobsmacked look and I nod "It did really scared me, but that's not what upsets me."

Molly gives an understanding look before asking "What upsets you darling?"

A sobs escapes my lips and I whine "Does him blame me for this?" they gives a confused look and I shrug "I pushed him to see her today." I gulp and state "During the battle, she betrayed Voldemort by telling him I was dead. Lucius bashed her head in. What if he did it because she saved my life?"

"Oh, Harry!" Ginny sighs, before holding me "He doesn't blame you for that!"

My mudded voice calls out "How do you know?" I cry into her shoulder and she sighs, before combing her fingers through my hair.

"Harry?" Ron asks as he squats in front of me "He loves you way to much to think that." he squeezes my knee, gently "He's just in a lot on emotional stress, right now."

They all move forward to comfort me. We stay like that for a while, until the doors of the hospital wing opens.

Expecting Draco, it comes as a shock when we find it's a full body bag on a gurney, pushed by two men. The doctor walks out and looks at us in suprise "I thought you left, considering Mister Malfoy left fifteen minutes ago."

"Draco left?" I ask, followed by a sniffle. She nods and I ask "Why would he leave without telling us?"

She gives a said look, before explaining "I gave him a letter that his mother lift for him. The next time I checked in, he was gone." she gives a sad smile "I'm sorry for your loss."

She follows the gurney and I take a shocked breath "Letter?"
