Layla goes in the kitchen and helps Keke with the dishes

Layla- "Dinner was good"

Keke- "Thank you, But i needa talk to you"

Layla- "Wassup?"

Keke- "August"

Layla- "What about him?"

Keke- "He is doing good, and he's a good father and husband but dont you think that *gco* "

Layla- "Thank what?"

Keke- "I know August changed but he can always go back to his old ways,"

Layla - "You never will understand what August does! You keep bringing up old shit about him!"

Keke - "Im your sister! Your OLDER sister im tryna watch for you Layla!"

Layla- "Im a grown ass woman, I can watch for myself, How about you find you a man and you stop worrying about whats mine"

Keke- "Aha, thats how its gonna be"

Layla- "I rather do me then listen to you"

Layla throws the towel down and leaves out

The present

I wish that i could hold you now, Wish that i could touch you now, Wish that i could talk you, be with you - some how, I know your in a better place, Even though i cant see your face, I know your smiling down on me, telling me everythings okay

Layla POV

I layed out Ariane's dress and called her to put it in after her bath

I went up to me and Aug's room and got out my dress and heels

August- "Hey baby"

I give him a weak smile and zip up my dress

August takes the zipper outta my hand and finishes the rest

Me- "Thank you"

August- "Welcome, I have Zaden dressed, Checked on Ariane shes almost finished and all i needa do is put my shoes on and we'll be ready"

August went downstairs and I finished getting ready

August POV

Ariane- "Daddy"

August- "Yeah baby girl"

Ariane- "Is mama gonna be okay?"

I just looked at her, shit i couldnt even answer it

August- "Shes gonna ok you just dont understand yet"

Ariane- "Is it because Aunt Keke not here no more"

August- "Yeah..Yeah it is, Go see if mommy ready"

Ariane runs upstairs and i get Zaden
