Knock knock.
No response from the other side of the door.
Knock knock knock
Still no answer.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK -
"ALRIGHT!" Loki sat up in his bed. "I'm up!"
"Ah. You're finally up, Loki." A man with long golden hair opened the door and smiled at the other man who was lying in bed, his black hair a little messy.
"Yes, well, I doubt anyone could sleep through your highly aggressive banging, Thor." Loki said.
"Father wants us in the throne room," Thor said, showing no sign of hearing Loki's comment, although silently wondering if that was a compliment or an insult. "We are to meet someone." Thor disappeared out of the bedroom and headed for the throne room.
"That idiot Odin is not my father," Loki muttered. "And I am not going to get up to meet anyone." He flopped his head back down onto the pillow and closed his eyes.
A few peaceful minutes past, and Loki has jus drifted off into a light sleep.
"LOKI ODINSON," Loki fell off the bed. "PLEASE PROCEED TO THE THRONE ROOM NOW. LOKI ODINSON, TO THE THRONE ROOM NOW."
"I AM NOT ODINSON!" Loki screeched from the floor. He picked himself up and looked into the full length mirror. "And never will be."
Loki was a smart man, and knew that he better get to the throne room. He would much prefer to stay in bed and dream of Odin begging for forgiveness, then Loki slaughtering him. Ah, happy dreams.
So he got dressed into his regular green and black robes and headed out into the corridor.
He passed a couple of maids, who looked fearfully at him and quickly shuffled past.
Yes, Loki thought. Fear your rightful king, for one day I shall be sitting on that throne that Odin now lazes upon.
He turned a corner and came into the throne room, saw that Thor, Frigga and Odin- who was in that shiny golden chair that I should be sitting it, thought Loki - was already there.
Frigga was talking to someone. A woman, as Loki saw.
She had the back turned to him, so he couldn't tell what she looked like.
Frigga spotted Loki and waved to him. The woman turned around, and Loki couldn't breathe for a second.
She was so beautiful. She was you.
