Chapter 29

Jisoo POV

  "Jisoo?" I heard Jimin's voice and look at him.

  "Jimin, why do you want to meet me?" I asked him and slightly look at him. He looks disheveled now.

  "I just want a confirmation from you. Did you plan to kill Taehyung?" Jimin asked me and it makes me shock with the questions.

   "I thought you'll trust me but it doesn't show that you believe me now...sorry I need to go now" I started to walk away. My heart becomes more hurt after Jimin's explanations. I don't care if they'll think bad about me.

  "But Jisoo it's not my mean...I'm just asking. I'm pretty sure that you didn't plan to kill Taehyung. You love him, right?" I stopped after heard Jimin's sentences that make me froze.

  "How do you know my feelings to him?" I question Jimin but I am still in my position.

  "I know from the way you look at him. Even if you don't show your feelings clearly, I could still see your real feelings for him. Didn't you?" I froze with his statement and slightly look at him then look away.

  "Okay then" I started to walk away but Jimin holds my wrist and I stopped again.

  "Tell him the truth about the real incident and your feelings to him" Jimin looks at me full of hope.

   "Sorry but I think I didn't have any feelings for him. Just assume that I'm the real killer" I push Jimin's hand away. Seriously, I'm not in the mood now. I just want some space.

   "You can lie to me but not yourself" Jimin started to step away after finished his sentence. I glanced at him in silence.

  'Yes Jimin, I love him so much. But I can't love him anymore and I think this ending is better for me and probably for him. This is what I want, I want he forgets me even he'll hate me forever'

Taehyung POV

I don't get why Jimin is still not back home. Is Jimin mad at me? I felt worried about angry at him all of a sudden. At the same, I heard the door opened.

  "Jimin" I called his name and he just looks at me with an unreadable face.

  "Why are you still awake? It is too late already" He asked me in innocent. Jimin rarely sulks with me for a long time.

   "Are you still mad at me?" I asked Jimin who stand in front of me and he looks at me.

  "I should have asked that question first actually" he said to me in an unbelievable face.

  "Yeah I know. I'm too much for you. So will you be my best friend back?" I asked him in a little smile. He just looks at me then nodded but his face looks sad.

  "I hope you and Jisoo will be fine soon" He told me and step away weakly after finished his sentence.

I felt guilty for Jimin and also Jisoo. I'm too angry with Jisoo. Actually, I should hear Jisoo's explanation but I'm such an egoist person.

  "Jimin...did you meet Jisoo?" I asked in confusion. Now I am in Jimin's bed.

  "Eo" He answers shortly and nods slowly.

  "Why did you meet her? What you and Jisoo chat about?" I asked curiously.

  "The truth about you and Jisoo" he makes a puzzle that makes me more confused.

  "What do you mean?" I asked in a questioning look.

  "You should hear her explanation first. She didn't try to kill you but she got a mission to protect you. But you ruined it" he looks at me with a serious face as I was still silent.

  "B-But Yeonseo told me..." I can't finish my sentence as Jimin cuts my conversation.

  "Wow you still believe that girl huh? After what she had done to you?" Jimin asked sarcastically. I'm just silent as my head bowed down.

  "I don't know" I mumbled slowly while looking down.

  "Jisoo has a reason why she being Han in front of you. She doesn't want you to hate and reject her to protect you. In addition, you always got mad with her so she tried to protect you in other ways." Jimin told me the truth and I listened to him every word carefully.

  "You said that Jisoo should protect me but why does she just look at me and doesn't help me when I got bullied before this?" It makes me more confused. I know that Jisoo is not that I think. She is a kind person.

  "She wants to help you but at the same time, she can't. You know why? Because she doesn't want to make a beautiful lie to you anymore. You should be grateful that Jisoo called me and asked for my help to you. That's why, we came to help you. She is the unsung hero, you know?" He asked me in a little smirked.

  "Give me times to think it first" I said in guilty.

  "Yah you should rest now. It's too late" Jimin told me and patted my back gently. He is so understanding.

  "Thanks Jimin for being my precious best friend. Sorry for being mad to you for no reason" I told in a lower tone.

  "Huh it's nothing. I know that I'm a best friend to you. So get out and get some rest" Jimin push me gently and I'm just followed him.

  "Yaa I need to rest now. Goodnight Jiminie pabo" I make a little laugh as he gave a death glare.

  "Hiyaa stop calling me that name" I'm just smiling as I step away. I need to meet Jisoo tomorrow. For forgiveness and also my feelings to her. Honestly, I felt grateful because she is Han. And luckily, Han is a girl.
