A pained cry erupted from Poseidon's throat as a hellhound tore into his left shoulder with its teeth, the wound began to spurt out Golden ichor like a fountain. The others, except for Clay and River who were out getting food for them all, tried to rush to his aid but they had their own monsters to battle against, they were loosing as they had no weapons and they didn't have enough energy left to use their powers. A storm brewed over head and the monsters glanced up nervously as if expecting ouranus to blast them to smithereens, the wind picked up and gale force winds blew the hellhound off of Poseidon, he quickly scampered up off the ground backing away in fear, he didn't have any powers to help his siblings with.
Time seemed to creep by all of a sudden and the monsters movements became sluggish, they didn't get the chance to react when a large spike of ice impaled three of them at once disintegrating them. The hellhound that had been blow back snarled at the two gods who had just arrived on the scene, Clay had a mind link with his siblings, any physical pain they felt he felt, he had felt Poseidons shoulder bite and had immediately flashed himself and River to help. Clay summoned his golden scythe named 'Hourglass' his scythe was different from his father's while Kronos's severed the soul from one's body Clay's could cause anything it touched to combust into flames hotter than the sun, it was a birthday gift from Hyperion. He gripped the special handle that would protect him from the molten metal and the flames. The hellhound pounced at the Young God who just laughed sadistically, he lit the scyth on fire after speaking the magic word in the old tounge, the hellhound yelped in pain as it was incinerated. With all the monsters taken care of, Clay and River got to healing the injured.

Clay held his hand over his brothers shoulder wound, Poseidon watched intrigued as his skin knitted back together and ichor stopped flowing out of it.

"How'd you do that!" Poseidon asked in amazement, Clay smirked slightly.

"I sped up your bodies skin cell production." he said proudly, River rolled his eyes as he made the water molecules in the air expand to create water, the water ran up Demeters chest healing a slash wound, the things his mother taught him in order to increase the odds of him surviving his father constant abuse.

"I did it better!" River scoffed at Clay who just stuck his tounge out at the younger boy.

"Oh, how mature!" River grumbled.

"Boys!" Hera groaned, she didn't want them to argue, they always argued, they had a competition going on about who could do things better.

"Anything I can do, you can't do better!" Clay yelled.

"Yes I can!" River yelled back.

Hera having had enough, and having recovered some of her power, blasted the two with light green devine energy sending them both flying.

"Hey!" they both whined at the same time. "That hurt!"

"Then shut it!" she snapped. "Or mother be dammed I will blast you again!"

They all froze, speaking of mother, an angry Rhea flashed in. She eyed them looking very disappointed, she was later joined by Tethys who looked even more disappointed.

"River, what were you thinking, leaving the grounds of Othrys, you could have been hurt!" the wife of Oceanus yelled hysterically. "I had no idea where you were! It wasn't until Rhea managed to get Kronos to spill his guts that I was able to find you!"

"And you lot!" Rhea chimed in, glaring at her children. You're lucky your father was here to step between you and Erebus, he would have killed you all."

"Yes mother." they all spoke in unison.
Receiving darker glares from the two titanesses, though they were grinning ear to ear. They landed back in Othrys, the pissed off mothers herding them into their respective rooms.  A few hours later River was awoken from a nap, he was met with a familiar pair of Golden eyes.
