The Headband

Mika POV

"Oi what is your name codet"
"Armin Arlert sir"
"Oi what's yours"
"Mika tai tan sir"
"Why did you join the military"
"To fight sir"
The captain was screaming at all of the people who signed up and after that one girl who was eating a potato was told to run until she dropped so while she was doing that we just kinda ate and chilled and as I was looking at a carriage bringing people to the fields Armin came up to me and said "I can't believe we really joined the military and we are going to be fighting titans soon" and I replied "yeah it's crazy but I know we will live till the end of the Titans reign"
"You think so"Armin replied "I know so".

Tomorrow

I woke up in and I was the first so I decided to go for a morning run to I got out of bed put on my uniform and went outside and I must admit that it is not the best conditions here because you'll always find atleast on rodent so yeah not really enjoying but as I was running I saw a person in the distance I walked over to them and it was Mikasa and she saw and said "hey Mika" I nodded my head in acknowledgment and she asked "why do you always wear that headband and I responded "the same reason you wear that scarf" "more specific" she replied so I told her "well you see me and my friend were fighting some kids twice the size of us and at the time I was scared so I just kinda watched my friend fight and then without warning he was stabbed in the chest and I ran over to him and all he did is take of his headband and gave it to me so whenever I wear it I feel like a fighter so that's why I never take it of" "oh sorry for asking if it was to personal" "that's okay"I replied after that we went down to eat
