*FIVE YEARS LATER*

The children were sitting in the middle of the dark, empty room. they had already lived 5 years all alone with no adult, and they remember every day, everyday was the same, they wake up, talk for  while, eat some canned fruit and cry, cry for help?, cry for their parents?, honestly they don't know, they don't care. They wonder if their parents are still worried, they wonder if the police are still trying to find them, they wonder, if they should give up hope.

Sammy, the eldest, she is very intelligent, she called a meeting. Everyone gathered round, she asked a question, a question that would make them all think.

"so, i have announced this meeting to ask-" she stopped, her eyes filled with tears

"should we wait for help? or should we try and get out ourselves!?"

the other kids stared

Karly and Faith giggled to each other as if they thought this was a joke, Naomi stood up next to Sammy, Asher and Fabian just kinda stood there as if they didn't know what was going on around them, and then there was Alexander, who just started crying, everyone gathered round to ask him whats wrong

"i just want my mummy, i want her warmth, i need her!" he sobbed

this started a kind of chain reaction as all the others stared at each other, they all then started sobbing and screaming for their mums and dads. it was pretty sad, all of these kids, whom, for all they know, could be orphans, or could be the last people on earth, they have no communication what so ever.

the walls in the basement were beginning to wear off, there were chips of concrete all over the place. you could see little pieces of old pipe systems through the walls, honestly, this made the place a whole load creepier. the whole place gave off a very eerie feeling the moment they arrived.

after a little while they had all stopped crying, it seemed that they had run out of tears.

all of their throats were aching.

Fabian stood up, he had just remembered something that he heard the scientists say.

"hey, didn't the two bad people who put us here say that they would be back to do some expeciments on us" he said, in very bad language as, he was only 5 and hadn't heard this word since he was born.

"yeah" they all agreed

"so, where are they?" Faith urged

no one knew the answer to this, well, all but I, the writer.

see after they had left, the scientist had gotten into a very bad car accident which left the driver paralysed and had killed the young one. no one knew it was them who had taken  the babies, and even if they were recognised, the only one alive, he could not remember an aspect of his life before the accident.

every year, the kids seemed to be getting smarter and smarter, as kids do, but these specific kids had no adult to help them, they were doing it all by their lonesome. if only someone knew where they were!
