Part 1: The Crash
Flames ablaze all around the outside of the ship as I fall through the atmosphere. Speeding through the clouds I fall towards the ground, as panic trying to figure out what I should do, I hear metal crash into the ground then all went black.
I get up, my head throbbing with pain. Either way, I put on a spacesuit to see where I am, I hope the air here is breathable because the oxygen in this suit and the oxygen tanks that survived the crash won't last long. I climb through the shattered window of the cockpit. The view is absolutely breathtaking.
I use an old tool to figure out if this planet has any breathable air, it reads positive!! The air here is breathable I crack open my helmet to test it, as fresh as the oxygen in the oxygen tanks. Thank goodness I landed on this planet, it looks relatively safe at least during the day. I should check the rest of the cargo to see if I have any food to eat, or if I need to hunt with my scythe. I climb through the wreckage towards the cargo bay of the ship.
The cargo bay has enough food for a few days, at least that's what's left clean and not dirty, I need to go hunt for food soon and preserve it. I also need to make a fire before the day on this fire is over, which doesn't seem far away. I sharpen my scythe to use as an ax since I haven't seen one on the ship.
I have enough wood for the next few days, at least on Earth days. Now time to go hunt, I'll record what I find.
The first creature found. It's small and tastes alright, but a little rough.
I stuff all of my findings into a box, to store them until needed. I also found a cave whilst exploring, I should check it out sometime soon, there may be something useful there. Brrrr... It's getting super cold, must be about wintertime here. At least I have food to eat, I should go get a spacesuit on to say warm.
Part 2: Spelunking
I've decided to adventure into the cave, I make sure my scythe is extra sharp, in case of any dangers I might run into. I begin heading through the forest, stepping over thick overgrowth and I arrive at the cave in no time. I head into the cave, not knowing what I'll find. I walk through the cave shooing away bat like creatures while I'm at it. They seem pretty harmless, even if they don't look like it.
I reach a bend in the path, as I'm going around the corner a creature hop around it, ready to attack me.
I swing my scythe towards its torso, but it jumps out of the way and lunges towards me. Just like the animal, I jump out of the way, hitting it with my scythe as I move. It barely scraped the leg but it still limps when it runs at me, I see my chance. I spin my scythe to build momentum then swing it at full force overhead, slicing the animal's head right in two. I take a look at its brain, it is nearly as big as a human's this animal must be pretty smart. I must be pretty lucky to not have it outsmart me. I put the body in my bag, better not waste it, and then head around the corner that the animal jumped around. There is a chest, there must have some civilized species been living here, I open up the chest. I find and small shield for the back of my arm, and a lot of golden coins. I need to find who left this here if the species is still thriving. I run back to my ship, cook, and vac seal all the meat I have and prepare to go find this civilization. I wait until the next day and begin marching towards the north according to my compass.
