(Ethan: Meaning strong, firm, impetuous.)

"I will."

The hidden figure smiled to himself, slowly turning his back at her, walking back to the balcony door. He gently turned the knob, and once outside he closed the door slowly, then crept up the hard stone. His feet pushed off the stone, jumping up to his own balcony since his apartment was right above the sleeping Roxanne and her companions apartment.
Once on his balcony, his hands shifted to his phone, opening the device and immediately calling someone. As he opened the door, he was met with a pillow being thrown at his face, it falling to the floor. He sighed, picking up the soft object, setting it back on the couch.

"What did I tell you guys about fighting with my pillows?" He said, ending the phone call because clearly the other person was busy. The two other men stopped, rubbing the back of their necks in guilt.

"Sorry Ethan, didn't mean to destroy ya stuff." Replied the grey headed boy that was already fixing up the mess.
His name was Justin Kole, a roommate of Ethan because clearly his friends didn't want to live alone. Ethan chuckled at the tone of voice Justin used, considering he's the oldest out of the other two living in the house. On the other hand, the other roommate named Charlie Heston was the god of scary in the house, apart from Ethan but that's another story.
You see, Charlie isn't one for strangers in the house, he's mostly comfortable with meeting those strangers outside their house, never inside. If he saw at least one person that he doesn't know, he sends them outside and talks with them until he knows they're fine. Funny thing is that Charlie only lets strange pets inside the house, never people.

Ethan only shook his head, heading over to the kitchen, filling up a cup with apple juice, setting it down on the counter. Charlie headed over to the kitchen too, leaning over the counter, tipping the cup with his finger.

"So...where'd you go Ethan?" Charlie questioned, making a confused Ethan turn around, looking carefully at his drink.

"I just went to the balcony. That's all." Ethan said, his voice cracking at the last part. He mentally cursed at himself for the en-ability to say lies without his voice cracking. Charlie perked up at the sudden crack of voice, smirking triumphantly as his finger left the filled cup alone, walking behind Ethan, sliding his hands from his back to his shoulders, a confused Ethan stunned with his mouth agape. Charlie soon whispered in his ear, making him wide eyed,

"Dylan called not a few minutes ago." Charlie soon dropped his hands, going next to Ethan, drinking his apple juice. Meanwhile Ethan looked at him bewildered, his hands fidgeting with his phone as he mumbled,

"No wonder he didn't answer me."

"You called him?"

"Yeah, but he didn't pick up." Ethan said, smacking Charlie's head for drinking his juice, a small 'ow' heard by the non innocent victim. Once finished with their small bickering, a small knock was heard on the kitchen wall, both the adults turning around to witness their other roommate with a gash on his arm, panicking the two.
They both rushed over, grabbing the pale Justin, keeping him upright.

"Justin what happened?!" Charlie asked rather loudly, making a small Justin whimper, flinching by the amount of voice he used.

"I just dropped a glass thing and I tried to pick it up but instead...I kinda cut my arm open." He said, a soft chuckle emitting from his lips. The other boys were in shock by how he could've kept a straight face after having his arm being brutally cut open, and still be laughing. They then helped him limp over to the bathroom, having his arm hovering over the sink, Ethan looking for the medical kit they keep under the sink for situations like these.
They were boys, of course they got hurt here and there, however the way Justin got caught only brought painful memories to Ethan, making his head all fuzzy, not hearing the repeated calling of his name from his friends.

"Ethan!" Charlie finally said, snapping Ethan from his painfully fuzzy mind, bringing the kit over to them.

"Sorry...i was just thinking on something." Ethan said, his trembling hand being used to rub the back of his neck. Charlie took note of this, going back to taking the medical kit from Ethan's hands, setting it down beside Justin, taking out a cotton ball.

"Alright, this is gonna be a little painful bro. You got this right?" Charlie said softly, placing a hand on Justin's shoulder. The aforementioned nodded, biting his lower lip softly, his eyes being closed rather tightly. Charlie then put medical alcohol onto the cotton ball, slowly pushing it onto the gash on the scared puppy known as Justin, a yelp being let out of his mouth, holding onto the counter top harshly, his knuckles turning white from the amount of force he was using the squeeze the life out of the counter.

After an hour of trying to stitch up the cut on a wailing adult, the boys finally finished on cleaning and fixing up Justin's cut, him dozing off on his bed, trying to ease the pain.
Meanwhile, the other boys were sitting on the couch in their living room, watching some television. Charlie then put his hand on Ethan's shoulder, making his head swirl over to look at him.

"You know, I didn't get to tell you why he called." He said, laying down, his feet being set down on Ethan's lap, a glare being earned in return.

"Why did he though?" Ethan soon crossed his arm across his chest, his head being tilt to the side by the adult who rarely comes over for a simple talk, were to call. Charlie shrugged, a sigh being emitted from his lips by doing so.

"Said something bout inviting us to dinner with his sister and her friends. I'm not really sure about what he meant by going over to ask her."

"Does she live in the same building as us?" Ethan soon asked, his eyes slightly widening.

"Yeah, with her friends." Charlie said, a brow raising from Ethan's sudden reaction.

"Wait. Charlie what's Dylans last name?" He asked, not realizing this earlier.

"His last name is Bethany."

Soon memories from earlier flooded into Ethan's mind, his hand pushing his bangs out of his face, soon realizing who this sister of their friend was...

"I...It's Roxanne Bethany. Nice to be friends with y...you too." The flustered red head mumbled, feeling her hand lose its warmth from being dropped down to her side. He smiled, waving at her while his hand made its way into his jean pocket, walking off to his apartment.

A loud sigh came from Ethan's lips, flopping back down to the couch. Charlie asked what happened, and all Ethan said was enough to cause many questions to float around the sea of Charlie's so called mind,

"I know who Dylan's sister is. And you won't like how I feel about her."
