chapter 15: first fight

Day #63

The days have gone by really fast for Veronica and Archie, but after tonight the couple are wondering if they're strong enough to do this.

Veronica and Archie had gotten into a pretty big fight tonight. The reasoning was because Archie told Veronica that he wanted to go on a little vacation with his best friend, Jughead.

Veronica's POV

A- "God you are such a control freak. I wish I could marry someone who doesn't watch my every move"

V- "I'm controlling? You want to leave me for two weeks! We still have wedding planning to do Archie!" I said starting to get even more frustrated

A- "Weddings! Veronica! Marriage! That's all I hear" he yelled in my face

V- "YOU TOLD ME YOU LOVED ME"

A- "That doesn't mean I want to Marry you"

I burst into tears. I didn't want to marry Archie at first, but I never said it to his face before.

A- "Ronnie.."

V- "I get it.." I said quietly, walking away from him.

I headed to my old room and texted Betty

V- "Is it okay if I sleep at your place tonight?"

B- "Yeah that's fine, warning the twins are cranky. What's up?

V- "I'll tell you when I get there"

I then started walking the streets. I know my way around now, and Betty's house is only like five minutes away. I checked my phone

2 missed calls: Archie

I ignored it and knocked on the door to Betty's

A- "Oh hi Veronica come on in" Alice said opening the door

V- "Hi Ms Smith"

When I got inside Cheryl and Betty were standing in the doorway

I practically walked into Betty's arms

B- "What happend V"

A- "Archie hates me"

B- "Of course he doesn't. Why do you say that?"

We went upstairs and I told her everything

B- "Ugh boys. Jughead was going to leave me for two weeks?"

C- "I say you dump there asses"

Cheryl said giving me hot chocolate

I looked at her like she was crazy

V- "I don't have a choice. I have to marry him"

C- "Oh V come here" we both pulled her into a hug. We even cracked a joke to make her laugh.

Archie's POV

J- "How could you be so mean bro" Jughead said, continuing to play video games

A- "Because I'm an idiot. I've tried calling her but she wont answer"

J- "So I guess we aren't going on a trip?"

A- "Sorry bro"

J- "its cool, I probably wont last a week without se-"

A- "Don't finish that sentence bro"

J- "I was going to say serial killer documentarys but okay"

Then I got a text from Ronnie

V- "I'm sorry"

A- "No I'M sorry. I was being an asshole and you had every right. Of course I wanna marry you. I don't even consider forced anymore"

V- "Its okay im going to stay at Betty's tonight. Goodnight <3"

A- "Night babe I love you"

V- "ily2"
