Five years later

"Here are the files you asked for miss Grey." My secretary, Anna said with a sweet melodious voice.
"Thank you Anna, and fot the n th time, my name is Hannah!" I smile at her. She's just too sweet. Anna Quuin is a sweet girl inside out. She started working for me a year ago when I helped her escape two men who were tryung to rape her. I know what your thinking. I was late from the ophanage, my former home and used a short cut passing through some dingy street when I saw her running like the devil was on her tail, and on secon thought, the devil was on her tail but in a form of two gigantic men. In record time, I had stopped the car ad shouted to herto get in. She never hesitated, she jumped into the passenger seat, put her seatbelt on and I stepped on the gas. I only asked questions when we got to my apartment.
I think she is reluctant to call me by my name because of that incident. But I would like for her to be free to call me by my name and stop being so clossed off.
"Please call me by my name, okay? I would like to leave Miss Grey for asshole business men who want to take advantage of me." I use my most persuasive voice, leaving no room for argument. And I was glad to see the last of her restraints crumble. "Please!?" I flutter my eyes and give her a winning smile.
"Okay...I'll call you Hannah!" She laughs softly.
"Thank youuu!!" A huge smile splits my face in two.
"You drive a nasty bargain, I had lost before I began!" She playfully frowns. "Well, I have been building my tactics in this last week!" I retort playfully, getting up to go and put the files in my bag so I could go over them at home.
"Yeah, you have." She smiles, "And before I forget, I have a call waiting for you. A miss Greene wants to talk to you personally over a ball gown she ordered and the cahanges she wants on it. She said she has been talking to you about it all this while."
At the mention of the name Greene I froze. Yeah, that's Malcolm's sister and she doesn't even know she is being helped by me.
"Do tell her its too late to change. The dress has been posted to her addres. It may even be on her door step by now." I try to hide the aggitation Arianah Greene always makes me feel when helping her. I cannot even say it's easy. No. I keep thinking of how close it is for me to talk to Malcolm. Once I heard him in the background and I almost collapsed with tension. I felt like he could hear that I am the one his selfish and spoiled sister is talking to.
"Okay. I will do that." She said softly, then went to her office.
Malcolm Greene, the one man in this world who hurt me to my core in more ways than one. The man who even now I still cary the proof of his hurt. The man whom even now I still see a psychiatrist because of. The man whom I hope will burn in hell for the damage he made on me. The man whom I see every day in my mirror when I remember the death of my son. The man I see every day in my living daughter, who lost a brother.
Malcolm Greene. I hope I never meet him again in all my life. I wish I never met him.
I wish...
But then I look at Molly and come back. I look at my precious child and I am better about myself. I look at my picasso and I am home. I am strong again.
My phone rings and brings me out of my stupor. I shake my head to rid myself of the depressing thoughts I was having. A deep breath. Another. Another. Calmer.
"Perfect fit, hello!?" I use my formal voice.
"Hannah? This is Daniel. We are having a bit of a problem."
The worry in his voice put me on high alert, "What is it?"
"There is woman at the store causing such serious chaose, saying you dont want to help her now she wants a refund of the ugly drees you sent her." "Whats her name?
"A miss Greene!"
Ohh the fuck! What the hell does Ariana want?!
"Please tell her to come and complain to me not to you guys. Give her the company adrees and I will handle it myself." I was trying to be calam. I really was. But Arianah has gone too far on the very frist strike. She needs to be deciplined. And fast. She cant just cause such drama in my store and stop my business. That spoiled brat attitude of hers should have limits.
"On second thought, I will be there in a few minuts. I was going to stop by anyway." I say calmly. "Just show her to your office I will deal with her."
"Okay. Thank you Hannah." The relief was palpable in his voice.
I quickly grabbed my bag made sure all my document were there and my car key before exiting the office. I popped into Annah's office and told her I was leaving then headed for the lift.
The ride to the mall, where one of my stores qas located was sshort. I just needed to get to Arianah before she decided to leave. Its a good thing the store was close to the north entrance for I was there in no time.
Unfortunately or fortunately, she was still at her drama, flinging her arms around and refusing to go to the manager's office. She was still the same. A dump blonde in daddy's plastics. She was dressed in a short pink dress that huged her figure perfectly, he blonde hair curled and hanging loosely on her head.
"Miss Arianah Greene?" I disturb the shout with a smoth strong voice that called her attention.
"WHAT?" she whips around in irritation. Then anger bursts on her face, making her look pink.
"How about we talk in Daniel's office? I am Hannah Grey, the owner of Perfect fit." I say, keeping a steady eye contact with her. The surprise on her face was priceless.
"I will not be lied to." She mocks me. I wasn't expecting her to believe me and I didn't give a fuck this was my life.
"And you are not." Irritariin got the better of me and made me sound harsh, "Now do you want help or what? I am busy."
"You!?" She points at me, "You cannot own such prestigious store. You are just a secretary." She is nasty now, hopping to get me down with her ugly words, but they don't get to me so she's waisting he breath.
"Daniel, how about you show me those files? I need to run and pick Picasso up from school. We have to shop for her Princess Sofia outfit she has been pestering me about all month.
"Yes, alright, they are in my office," he kept looking from me to Arianah in curiousity. "Let me just get them."
"No. I will go over them with you in your office," I say with a laugh, Daniel was really spooked by Arianah's presence.
"It was good seing you after five years. And its sad to see you are still the same. And if you need help. Come to my office we will discuss you dress details." I smile at her and head to Daniels office with him.
"Its a lone story," I say when I see the hesitant question on his face. "I will tell you another time." Daniel is the closesed to a good male friend I could have, but he doesnt know every thing, just the surface
Before we entered his office, Arianah had followed us, demanding to be helped right then there, and that she won't go out ithout being helped.
"Listen, Arianah, be respectful for once in your life, I told you that you asked for changes on your dress too late. We had shipped your dress to you. And any changes will delay your function that you said you wanted to attend, so you have to choose. We take the dress and return it tommorow and you pay extra for the changes we will have done or you just suck it and were your pretty dress,??" I was beyond irritated and I didn't give a fuck what she thought or felt. I was just gona be nasty and not care. I was beyond caring. Not for her or her nasty bastard brother.
She was a bit taken aback, not expecting me to be angry at her for the brattish attitude. Well that suited me well, it gave me a small satisfaction in bringing her down a notch.
"Are you gonna choose!?" I press when she doesn't saya word.
"Forget it!" She snaps in defeated anger, "But I will never shop with you again!" Then she turned and left.
I sighed in exasperation!  That girl just ruined my mood.

"Mommy, that one." Screamed Molly in glee. "The pink one." She was just bubbly and excited as we walked around the store. We had come shoppig for her princess gown and she kept on dragging me from store to store. She was just too hard to please and I was glad there was a dress that she finally like! I am dead on my feet.
"Okay Picasso, how about we change you into it to see how it fits? I smile at her before taking down the dress. I really was pretty. It was a princess cut dress with a pink bow and had a pink crown studded with diamonds and pearls.
"Yessss!" She jumped up and down in glee, already dragging the assistant to the fitting room. She would never allow me to change her. She liked walking out to show me her outfit. She was already a fashion fanatic.
A few minutes later she walked out and I felt tears flood my eyes. Oh! She was just pretty! Just like a princess. My princess! I blinked back my tears amd squarted infron of her.
"You really look like a princess!" I say sweetly, "You are so pretty my Picasso."
"Thank you mommy." She smiles too. "I love you mommy." She says and gives me a hug.
"I love you too Moo Moo." My voice is trembing. I am just glad that my tears are kept at bay.
"Now, how about we get out of here and go get ready for the ball!?" I tickle her and she screams in glee.
We were walking towards the exit of the mall and Molly was holding tightly to my hand and jumping and we walked. I just smilled and laughed when she drags me so we get home quicker.
  "Mommy?"
  "Yes baby?"
"Are you going to dress like a queen?"
  "Yes babe." I smiled.
"And then I will be your princess?"
"Yes. Picasso, you will always be my princess."
"Then where is your king?" Her voice is suddenly serious.
I did not see that coming.
How ironic. My king. Malcolm Greene my king. I knew Molly was curious on who her father is and why he was not in our lifes. This is not the first time she asked. I  guess you can say I was ussed to the questions.  But I hardly ever answered them. Always brushing them off.
"How about I tell you when we get home babe!?" I say sweetly hoping she will forget about her questions when we get home.
  "Okay mommy!"
"Good girl." I say and tickle her just to hear her melodious laugh. And her sweet squeal brings a smile on my face.
  But it doesn't last long.
My eyes clashed with Malcolm Greene's electric blue ones. My heart picked up its pace at an alarming rate. He scowls at me and lookd away. A look of disgust and cold anger crossing his face. I stayed frozen for a moment longer before Molly pulled out of my stupor with her tikling me and laughing because she could only reach my thighs. I forced a laugh out so she won't notice that I was shaken.
What the fuck is wrong with me? I thought I was fine now. I thought five years of not seing his arrogant face was enough for me to be okay. I thought....
  Oh! My God!!
No! This can't be happening. He can't come back into my life. I will not alow that. No!!
"Mommy, who is that man who is staring at you? Is he your king?"
