Meeting someone online is great until you agree to meet them. It's so scary if you've never done it before and they really could be anyone, and that's where most of the fear comes from. Of course by the endless hours of messaging and calling you feel it's safe to say you're sure they are cool.
You agree to meet up on a certain day at a certain time. At this point it feels like forever away. Time creeps up so quickly that before you know it, it's time.
I woke up at the crack of dawn out of excitement to meet my new friend and felt lost in both fear and excitement, disabling me from drifting into a quick slumber before it's time for me to get up.
Boredom of not being able to get more rest led me to the goddess called Netflix, a great way to pass time. So I slowly pressed my finger onto the screen and on came my personal time passer and after that came on Lord of the rings for me to watch for the very first time.
From 6.30, the time passed so quickly and I was soon getting ready and looking at the times of the bus.10.33 I left the house and and got to the bus stop for 10.35 for my so thought 10.37 bus. By my deep surprise the bus never came.
I realised that out of my eagerness and excitement I had misread the bus times and had to wait by the bus stop for 10 minutes extra in pouring rain.My once presentable hair was a stringy mess as I stepped onto the bus as it finally arrived and I climbed the stairs on the bus and sat at the front so I could enjoy the journey through the giant window.
20 minutes felt like an hour and the bus ride was like a roller coaster instilled with fear, excitement and even regret... That didn't stop me though.
Upon entering the bus station, I jumped off of the bus and pulled out my phone to message my new found online friend.
I set searching for the bus he should be arriving on and I waited by the door they should be coming through until I realised that the bus that had arrives was empty!
Was it just the wrong bus or was they already here?!
I message them to find that my messages weren't going through so I decided to linger around the middle section of the bus station and keep my eyes fixed on where the busses enter the station so I could keep my eyes on what busses were coming in until I was distracted by him.
He was already here and oh boy he was tall!!
