We talked for what felt like forever as the long bus journey commenced and eventually we arrived at Birmingham we explored Birmingham for a bit and also went to pigeon Park and also went for a very long stroll upon the canal where I had never been and I got to see the lock Bridge which is a bridge that you attach locks onto the barriers and throw the key into the canal which was very cool. We also after that went to st. Paul's in Jewellery Quarter which was very relaxing and during that time were there we relaxed on a bench and talked and talked for ages and we cracked open our Monsters that we had saved. We sat there admiring the view as we saw a drunk dude being carried by to sober dudes behind us at 4 p.m. and he made his way to us and kept asking how our evening was going and we could clearly tell he was drunk and that he clarified it by saying he was a bit drunk. Within the short experience he shook our hand and then went. Me and Jake just looked at each other and laughed and he told me that this is why he loves this area because it's so quiet and funny things like this happen around St Paul's we moved to a different area because we saw that there was a wedding going on so we moved by some palm trees and chilled by the bench. There we had interesting conversations one of them being if Hitler was a tree which tree would he be and I said pointing at a tree 'that one because there's so many graves by it' and we also questioned the area like why there was a headless an armless man with wings as a statue on a building nearby. We decided that we wanted to go to Oasis because it was the lair of hippie and emo stuff after some time there we decided we would go to the Bullring and one of the places we went was HMV and there we looked at cool vinyls while getting earache due to some performance. While we were there Jake text his mom to see if it was ok for me to come round and he came towards me after looking as vinyls and weirdly lent down with an awkward look on his face and embarrassingly said that his mum had said no and I replied with "ha told you should have told her yesterday" so we exited HMV after viewing some other albums and decided we would both grab more coffee because we are both coffee lovers and our favourite coffee shop is Starbucks so we had to go there. We got into Starbucks which is very cramped and there is no seats and we ordered what we wanted we waited for our drinks. I received mine or I hope it was mine because my name on it was k r u s t y and it wasn't what I ordered completely because it was decaf and small but that's ok didn't charge me any more Jake's however, he ordered cookies and cream venti with cream and then a drink that looked like his got put down on the side saying j e c k so he wasn't sure it was his and he waited to grab it due to not being his proper name and he decided to wait for a bit before he grabbed it but then a really shifty dude grabbed it and 10 minutes later Jake had still not got his drink so we decided that he had stolen it so he had to get another one but luckily they didn't charge him due to the fact his had been stolen. By then the time was around 6:30 p.m. so we chilled and drank her drinks chatting and relaxing and decided to go to Selfridges and guess how much designer items cost for fun while we were there I was looking for a tag on a bag and accidentally set off an alarm oops.
Sadly it was getting late and I had to go home so we popped in to Claires and looked at the bracelets to see if we could get a token to represent our first time meeting however nothing went with Jakes attire and Style so we walked back to pigeon park taking a shortcut through a creepy alleyway and we spotted that a message Jake had wrote with his finger on a very dirty window was still there after 3 months so I added my own edition and put my name under his for fun. We got to the park and got to the stop that I was taking to get home and a 12e came and I said I wouldn't go on it because it had an e on it and I was not sure if that went the same route as the 12 so then I realised the next one to Oldbury was in an hour but then I realised that the one to Dudley is exactly the same so I took that one 20 mins after I could of gone home. Our goodbye was anticlimactic and we parted ways and my day was over. But it was a great day!
As soon as I got home I looked back on my day and it felt weirdly familiar like I had walked behind him before, perhaps we known each other in a past life.
