The Brothers Mate Chapter 8 (R)

Gale's P.O.V

 It's been a month since we found Amy and she has become very special too the pack and us.  Silver helps out in the day-care when she can. Her voice is getting better but she can't over use it still. 

Two other huts have been found and the hunters there shot. Something is going on in town as we have had reports that some new people have moved in and keep to themselves. We have eyes on them at all times. 

My brother hasn't been found, but there was a sighting of him in London. Silver managed to get a picture of him leaving the airport.  Her Father has the police looking for him as a person of interest concerning an illegal poaching ring. 

There are now more than fifty packs and hundreds of others that have all had people taken and wanting to help take them down. The world map in my Dads office is looking like a pin cushion with all the huts and houses found that have or are being used by the hunters. 

Silver managed to unlock a laptop found and has seized their bank accounts that had been opened on the laptop.  The hunters are making mistakes and everyday there are more reports of others being taken down.  

A number of the hunters are just like my brother born with no animal.  Silver's Dad is a really well respected ex-marine.  He runs a big security firm.  Shelly's family was charged with tax evasion and they are waiting to see what the outcome will be. 

But in the mean time their house and business have been shut down.  I have a feeling Silver had something to do with it, but I haven't said anything because I think Shelly is getting a taste of what she has dished out for years.  

Sam the brown bear we rescued has managed to get a number of brown bear sleuth's to joins in the search.   He's back with his family and putting on weight.

  Miles and I have arranged for Joe's Mum to watch Amy tonight.  We are going to take Silver to our favourite spot and we hope we can complete the mating with her.  Our wolves are growing very restless and so is Silver's tiger.

"How do I look?" Silver asks coming from the closet and twirling round.  We growl before we get a hold of our wolves. 

"You look beautiful, amazing" we say together. 

"Oh, good that's what I was going for" Silver's voice is low in tone and a little raspy and we both like to listen to her. 

"Alright come on" Miles says taking her hand and kissing it. 

I kiss her cheek and place my hand at the base of her back.  We climb into the four by four.  As we are going off road, so will need it to get to where we want to take her.  Miles drives and it takes about 45 minutes to get there. 

I put my hands over her eyes when we get close.  I guide her from the truck and keep my hands over her eyes Miles takes her hands and guides her to the place, we spent the afternoon getting ready. 

I remove my hands and Silver blinks and looks around at the blanket with cushions on the ground and the jars hung in trees with candles lit in them. To the picnic basket on the ground. 

She claps her hands and smiles. 

"It's perfect" she tells us.  

We sit on the blanket and we show her all the food we have packed.  We also have a picnic disposable BBQ as Silver and her tiger love steak.  We eat and talk about everything and anything that we think about.  

After we have cleared the picnic things up. We lay on the blanket looking up at the stars. I can feel Miles is just as nervous as I am.  I take a deep breath and run my nose along Silver's neck.
