|| Chapter 5 ||

I arrived in my neighborhood sweating, my eyes still pouring liquid. I rubbed my eyes. I started to become short of breath.

I look around. Another black figure appeared and started its way to me. Frightened about what happened a while ago I start walking backwards.

"L/N?" The figure spoke.

"No!! Please don't hurt me! Please!! Spare me~! " I pleaded.

"Huh? L/N.. What happened?" I opened my eyes and it was a green headed boy. " M-Midoriya?"

"L/N-San! Are you okay! You seemed to be in some distress.. Come in to my house." Midoriya said.

"Can I tell you what happened then in private? " I sniffled.

"Sure.." he replied.

We walked to his house. Which surprisingly was about four to five blocks away from mine.

He opened the door and was greeted by his mom.

"Hello Izuku- Oh my! Come in deary!!" She pushed her own son away and grabbed my hand. She led me inside and on the couch.

"So tell us what happened and then we can all have some dinner. " Midoriya's mother worriedly said.

" Thanks Midoriya's mother. Your so kind to be letting me in your home. I guess Midoriya got that from you!" I chuckled.

I started explaining everything except the part about choosing people. I started crying in the middle of it because it reminded me of how my big brother died.

"Oh dear.. Are you sure you can't cut it? I can try! " Inko said.

"You can spend however many nights here. I will gladly let you sleep in our house. " Midoriya spoke.

"T-thanks. I'll just get my stuff. " I stood up.

"I'll come with you to make sure nothing happens" Midoriya stood up as well.

He waved good bye to his mother and started walking in the moon light with me.

"Can I tell you a secret L/N? I can't just keep it to myself.. I want to tell someone! So can my secret be safe with you?" He asked.

"Yeah! I'm good at keeping secrets.. So what is it?" I softly spoke.

" Actually.. I.. I don't wanna talk about it. It's complicated.." He hesitated

"Oh.. I just want my brother right now.. He always took care of me and made me feel better. You remind me of him, of how he hide so many secrets, of how kind he was and how he cared so much for others even if he barely knew them.. " I started bawling..

I hugged Midoriya and we stopped walking. He hugged back. "It's nice to know someone like you is here" I sniffled. 'I might just chose him. If he was the one who made that giant impact with all the gushing air. Yes. I would chose him. ' I hugged him tighter.

"If I betrayed you, what would you do?" I asked out of nowhere. 

"What do you mean? I've been through betrayal before with Kacchan. We were close until he got his quirk, that's when his ego went through the roof. " he answered. Midoriya let go of the hug.

"How did you handle it? " I looked up.

"I tried living my life without Kacchan getting in and ruining it I guess.." he shrugged.

"Let's go. We're close." I said looking down.

I opened my house door and let him inside. I got a bag and put all my stuff there. "I think I'm done Izuk- I mean Midoriya! " I stuttered.

I was responded with silence.

"Midoriya?" I softly shouted. I was treated by silence once again.

"Midoriya!!" I ran out my room. I looked around.

Midoriya was no where to be found. I heard a door creak.

'The only door that's makes that noise is my mothers room.' I rushed on over to my parents room and found Midoriya looking at photos.

"Midoriya!" I shouted.

He flinched and looked at me, "Sorry L/N.. But I'm guessing that you're close to your parents."

My eyes dulled. "I think you got it all wrong. My parents hate me. "

"Well where's this boy? He seems to be older than you. Where is-"

"HE'S DEAD MIDORIYA" I screamed. Tears were coming out of my eyes again.

" oh.. " he went over to me and hugged me tightly.

"Let's go L/N.." he spoke in my ear.

I nodded in agreement and got my bag and left the house. And I didnt forget to lock it this time round.

We walked over to his house once again. I wanted to wait until we were at his house to tell him about how I had to chose two people.

Thoughts clouding my head once more. ' Am I gonna be a villain?' ' Is he gonna be feel betrayed?' ' Am I gonna be a traitor?'

We arrived faster than I thought.

I never got the chance to tell him. But we ate dinner. White rice, some vegetables, and some fish with a glass of water.

He then showered after then me. After I showered he was already sleeping. I slept on the couch and had trouble catching Zzz's

🕑 Morning 🕑

I woke up due to Midoriya talking to someone.

"W-Who are you talking to Midoriya?"

"N-No one L/N!!" He dropped the phone revealing the name.

"AllMight?!" I question
