Journal entry: 1

This is my story my life my ....everything. My name is Serenity Moon.

What your about to read is shocking maybe even scary unless you believe in these things.... I didn't. I couldn't. Not until i saw with my own eyes, And i did.  All six of them... maybe there's more. I'm not really sure. This is only the beginning,of whats to become.

September 5th.

My last year of highschool.

At a new school.

A fresh start. I guess.

"Serenity!!!" My mom calls from the kitchen

"Yes mother" I sigh

"Did you eat something?" she asks walking out

"yes i had an apple"i say looking up from where i was tying my shoe

"Thats not nearly enough to get you through the day" she replies

"Ill be fine i have money in case i want something at lunch" i explain

"Well okay.." she says and then hesitates "Will you be okay today ?"

"Mom its not like i havent gone to school before" I say uneasily

Its true that ive been to school before just not this one. I just didnt have the heart to tell my mom that i wasnt so sure about myself, she had enough stress as it was and i wasnt planning on adding to that.

"I know.. i just wanted to make sure youre okay with you know everything..." she whispers

"Dont worry about me just take care of yourself. Ill be home sooner than you think" I force a smiling hoping she take the bait

"Okay..... Try and make some friends it'd be good for you " she says

"Will do" i say walking towards the door knowing that i probably wont

"Bye mom" i say hugging her and Making my way down the steps and on the way to school.

I walked all the way there hoping to get rid of jitters no one knew me and even tho it was the first day of school i still knew id feel out of place. It was just who i was.

A few minutes i arrived at my school Night-ridge High. It was massive. Five times bigger than my old school West wood High. The outside was crowded with students that didn't seem like they were in a rush to get in anytime soon. Not me. I rushed inside and headed straight for the office i was already registered but i needed a map so i could find my way around to my classes. I walked in a short time later at the desk of a very petite looking woman.

"How may i help you ?" she said peering over her glasses

"I was curious to see if you had a map so i wouldnt get lost" I reply shyly

"New student hmm?"

"Yes miss" i laugh shyly

The lady by the name of Ms.Greene Got up and disappeared for a short time and came back with papers in her hand.

"I got you an extra just in case something happens to the first one" she says with a smile

"Thanks you so much" i said grateful. I had a history of losing somethings at times.

"Its no problem at all come back if you need anything else id be happy to help"

"Thanks  again and i will" I say returning the smile.

I walk out in a hurry hoping to find my class so i could get a seat in the back where hopefully i wouldnt be noticed. Turns out my first class (English) Was right around the corner from the main office. My teacher's name was Mr.Shawn. I wasnt sure if that was his first name or his last.
