Chapter: 3

"We need to leave. NOW" I stated. It wasnt a question and they knew it. It was far too suspicous for all of us to be standing together for one i was the only girl there and two the obvious reason these 4 guys looked exactly the same.

"What a great idea Moon" Lance said sarcastically

"Watch it " Xander said

"No you watch it you f-"

"Hey! stop your shit. does anyone know where we can go ?" I said

"Uh" They all said in deep thought. I thought about it too. My mom wasnt working today... SHIT! I thought My mom she has no idea where i am and it was nearly an hour after school.

[Me]; Hey Mom uhmm i met some friends at school today{ Somthing I  wouldnt dare call them right now but it was a cover right ?} I hope you dont mind im going to one of their houses so we can work on geography together. 

[Mom]; Oh thats all right  hun i was just unpacking anyways i might take a nap a little later on so the door might be locked.

[Me]; Oh okay thanks ill see you later Love you!

[Mom]; Love you too sweetie xo

I hated leaving my mom like this but somehow i felt there was a reason why i noticed them when no one else did all these years. I had to help them.

"Serenity.... whats wrong " Marcel asked completley concerned with wide eyes.

"Its nothing really just texting my mom" I told him hoping he wouldnt pry. He didnt. But he clearly wanted to but saw that i wasnt up for THAT conversation today.

"Oh alright" He mumbled

Wordlessly we all made our way outside even the stranger that Lance grabbed he didnt utter a word but just followed along with the rest of us  knowing one of the guys would beat the hell out of him if he tried to run.

"My house" Xander said. I turned to face him he was trying to put on a strong front but i could see he was worried about something .

"can i talk to you for a sec ?" i asked him

He nodded, and i walked a few feet away from everyone else expecting he would follow. He did.

"what is it Xander i know you dont know me but think i you'd prefer to tell just me rather then me pry and find out with help of the guys and then they would know too."

"Sere-"

"No Xander I said flatly.  no lies i want the truth and i will know if you are telling it" I stated. We werent gonna get anywhere with a bunch of lies, he knew it too

But what he said i wasnt expecting. not at all

"Im-m..." he stuttered

"C'mon we dont have all day " i said impatiently

"Vampire" He said

"Oh my gosh where?!?!" I squeaked

"Shhh shh stop it Serenity" Xander whispered

"Why? wait.  what ?"

"IM the vampire" Xander whispered

"B-but  how?" I stuttered

"I-i really don't know. Maybe finding out some information about my so called"brothers" will help

"Thats why your eyes are purple!" I said too loud

"shhhh and yes thats probably it "Xander said frustrated

"Y-you d-dont eat people right ?" i said taking a small step back hoping he wouldn't notice.

He did . And frowned down at me.

"No i can eat regular food like everyone else but i tend to stick with animals"

"Uhmmm... okay" I said stepping back .

"Please dont be scared i promise ill never hurt you " he said sincerly.

"Okay but i still dont understand... how?

is your dna normal ?"

"It seems okay but i started staying away from blood test when i figured out what i was"

"Your parents know?"

"Correction STEP parents. I was adopted and I would suppose they would they raised me . But I still haven't bothered to mention or ask them."

"But when you were a baby how? you didnt know any better.."

"You know premature babies?"he asked

I nodded.

"Thats what i was kind of but reversed i was a little bigger than i was supposed to be"

"Thats crazy we have to look into this..." i trailed off confused.

"No." he stated I gave him a look "well at least not yet" He added

"Fine but youre telling the others" i stated

"Im not taking that chance right now i dont trust any of them"

"But.. you trust me ?" i asked confused

"Yes and no.. i mean you were the best bet and considering that you were planning to fund out anyways what was my choice?"

"Wow thanks for the half assed compliment" I said scarcastically

"Anytime" he said smiling

I started to walk back to the others when he grabbed my shoulder. I thought about typical sterotypes how vampires were supposed to like ice cold. All felt was warmth. It felt good. Wait what ? I turned to face him.

"My parents are gone for the month we can go over to my place"

"Uh thanks...  thats really great" I stuttered heart racing .

We made our way towards the group again. It seemed the other familiar  was trying to reason his way out.

"C'MON MAN I DON'T KNOW ANY OF YOU ! You bunch of weirdos .. How are you even friends ?" He stated

"You're a freaking Nerd!" he said pointing to Marcel.

"You're the freakshow" he muttered in the direction of Xander.

"Your the preppy pretty boy " he said in the direction on Lance.

"Do I really need to continue?!?" He said

"He doesn't see it " Xander whispered frustrated. He was clearly pissed off about the guys comment .

"Why" I asked "why couldn't any of you notice the similarities ?"

"I don't know" He said "All i know is when you pointed it out it was like a mask was removed like.... i could finally see ... everything." He explained

"Is it like magic? i don't know what other way to describe it.... its really confusing" I Rambled

"Oh um i don't think so... He said clearly wanting to laugh at me for making such a statement.

"Well dont say anything i want to see if he catches on to your apperances by himself." I said

"Okay ill let them know." He said

We turned to face the guy mixed emotions crossed his features. Anger. Shock. Fear. He made eye contact with me and  his eyes pleaded with me. But there was no way i could give in so easily. All the guys looked at me as if waiting for a command. I wasnt in charge of this and i didnt want to be either. I wasnt One of THEM. I was just me Serenity Moon not a mysterious clone. But i felt as if there was a reason why only I was able to notice it.
