Break This Down

Two days later, there was loud noise outside the Isle. Harry and I run under the the archway at the front of the island just in time to see a bridge forming between the Isle of The Lost and Auradon. 

" My plan." I laughed and Harry spun me, hugging me tight. He put me down and I pecked his lips before running onto the top of the balcony over the arch.

" People of the Isle." I started. " The barrier has been broken. You are all free to go to Auradon!" The people below me cheered and I hugged Celia before running down to lead my people across the bridge. Harry flipped from the balcony and landed beside me and we crossed, being met half way by Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos, and some other people from Auradon. We danced around a bit before going the rest of the way to Auradon. Before we crossed completely, I felt a weird vibe cone over me. What if this was a trap? 

My sudden thought was washed away when King Ben kneeled before us and the others bowed. I laughed and ta ahead leading the VKs to the other side. There was singing... Dancing- lots and lots of dancing. But I still felt as if I didn't belong. I'm so accustomed to the Isle, that I almost felt threatened here when I came over. Harry looked at me, and I could tell he didn't feel too different...

" I still don't think I belong here, love." He said and I nodded.

" I almost feel intimidated...." I said and spun me with the crowd. 

" I know we can cross whenever... But I might go back, ( y/n)."

" Same." I agreed. We waited for the party to end, not wanting to be rude to King Ben since we were here a few days ago and we helped him defeat Audrey.

Back on the Isle, Harry and I were playing cards when Gil came running below deck of Harry's ship. 

" Why aren't y'all in Auradon?" 

" We wanted to come back." Harry said and I added.

" We don't really like it over there. Things are too....... " 

" Royal." Harry finished.

" Oh. Okay then." Gil said, leaving the ship. 

I flipped my cards over to reveal a 5 of hearts and 7 of spades. Harry had a 3 of spades and 7 of diamonds. He drew himself another card and looked at me for my next move.

" ..... I might regret this later.... Hit me." He dealt me another card. We flipped at the same time and he had drawn himself an ace.

" I say.. 11." He chanted and I looked mine.

" 6 of spades." 

" 21! " We yelled at the same time. Laughing, we put the cards up and went onto the deck, Harry's arm around me. I scaled the net and stood on the top, looking over the west face of the Isle yet again. I saw the open road to Auradon and people dancing and living their new, undivided lives. I glanced at the front of the island... Or what I could see of it anyway. I saw the rats none other than Mal and Ben making their way towards the dock. After about 20 minutes, they came into view right on front of the pier. 

" Royalty incoming!" The pirates took their places on the ship and watched as Mal and Ben came on board. I let go of the net, swinging by rope around the mast and landing in front of the two. "Your majesties." I fake bowed, exposing my sword. " Come for another fight?" 

Mal and Ben laughed at my joke and shook their heads.

" I don't think so." Ben said, gazing around the ship. " This isn't the same ship Uma held me on." 

" Right." I said and Harry came from the side, bowing as well. " This isn't Uma's ship. 'Tis mine." 

" I thought you sold it." Mal said, holding Ben's arm.

" Aye. I tried. But no one would take it." He said. " Eh, there's a better use for it now." 

" Oh really?" Ben said and Harry nodded.

" It now has a captain." He said, looking at me. I tipped my hat and shifted my weight, crossing my arms. 

" Ooooh." Mal joked. 

" And I have the best first mate a captain could ask for." I said, glancing at Harry.

" Wait a minute.." Ben said. " You two are dating?" 

" Yeah!" Harry said, putting his arm around me.

Mal turned to Ben. 

" I thought I told you that." She said.

" Nope." 

We laughed and they stayed for a bit longer before the VKs showed up. There was a party on the ship that night.
