Alice pov:

Today's the Quidditch World Cup, and I can't wait. My father, Markus Moonhope, has a high position in the Ministry of Magic, so we get good seats to watch from. Even though this was quidditch, I still had to dress up nicely in front of the Ministry of Magic. My outfit, hair, and makeup are cute yet simple.

Oh wait, I haven't even introduced myself at all. My name is Alice Moonhope, and I'm 16. I'm a proud Slytherin at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in my 7th year.

(In this story, the great war of the Hogwarts students and death eaters with Harry and Lord Voldemort didn't happen and will never be in my book, which means that yes Cedric Diggory is alive.)

I'm Headgirl, so I must ensure my house is in order daily. I'm an only child. I get spoiled a lot by my parents. If I do well in my classes, my parents get me whatever I want. Now, I love my father to the core of my heart, but my mother and I sometimes get into disagreements. And when I say 'sometimes' I mean all the time, she just doesn't understand me and never will. My father usually has to jump in to break it up before it gets out of hand because there have been many times my mother has hit me to the point of me going unconscious. But about Hogwarts, I'm one of the best Slytherins, the head of the house Professor Severus Snape is proud of me, plus I'm his goddaughter. Along with my best friend Draco Malfoy, who is Professor Snape's godson. Draco and I have been raised together our whole lives since our parents were the best of friends in their Hogwarts time.

Right now, I'm sitting next to Draco in our reserved seats with the Ministry of Magic and our families, waiting for the Quidditch World Cup to start. I play quidditch myself, but I don't play at school. Only because I play a magical archery race. I'll explain later on what that is, The game has started, and Ireland comes out to Bulgarian.

(During the game, it also doesn't get interrupted by death eaters because, like I said, no war gonna happen in my book)

Draco and I are rooting for the Bulgarian team, we've been a fan since we were little, plus Viktor Krum is on that team. Now that I say that, oddly enough, a couple of years ago, my parents made me learn Bulgarian, I didn't question why, though, when I know I already have 5 other languages. It was amazing, especially when Viktor Krum came out, I swear he's the most handsome man I've ever seen. Some people believe Draco and I are together because of how close we are, but honestly, that's not true since he's with Hermione.

(Also, in my book, Draco's parents don't care about blood status, and Ron ends with Lavender. Harry is still gonna be Ginny, Blaise is with Pansy, and the Weasley twins will have somebody too.)

I'm known as the Slytherin Queen and Draco the Slytherin King. Only our close friends can understand that we see each other as family. The great thing is that Hermione will soon be the next Lady Malfoy of the Malfoy family. I can't wait for the wedding, I'm going to help Hermione look for a dress while Blaise goes with Draco to get fitted for his tux. The games are over, and just as we thought the Bulgarian team won! Going back to our tent, my mother quickly fixed my hair and makeup to look a little fresh and made me put my nude lipstick on. Draco was in the room sitting and holding Hermione from behind as she read a book, and he fell asleep with his head on her shoulder. From outside, I could hear my parents talking to someone, but they soon came in with Viktor Krum and his parents.

"Oh my Merlin," Hermione whispered as she nudged Draco to wake up.

"Bloody hell is Viktor Krum."

My mother looked at me with a strong face, meaning to stand and greet them.
