What would you do if you were told to do something you don't want to do?
Would you say no?
Would you walk away?
What if you didn't have a choice?
What if you had to do something bad everyday, and couldn't stop it?
You wouldn't get used to it, so you'd always feel bad afterwards.
How do you think rape victims feel?
How do you think rape victims do if it happens to them every. Single. Fucking. Day?
They die inside.
It hurts.
It hurts so bad, but they can't stop it.
There is no reason behind it.
"She deserved it!"
"He shouldn't have acted that way!"
"She shouldn't have been wearing that tight shirt!"
"It's his fault!"
NO.
It is never the victim's fault!
They hate themselves every single day because of it!
"Well, maybe they shouldn't have gotten drunk."
That doesn't change anything.
Drunk or sober, IT IS STILL WRONG.
"Why doesn't he/she tell someone? t's really easy."
It isn't.
They are scared to tell someone because of the embarrassment.
They don't want to be laughed at.
Pushed away.
Called a liar.
A slut.
An attention whore.
A fake.
And its because of this, the name calling, that they suffer.
It is because of people like you, you people that call them fakes, that they never get help.
It is your fault that they suffer at the hands of themselves.
That they won't tell.
That the stress catches up.
That they find bottles of unused pills.
That they paint their skin with razors and knives.
That they tie a noose to fit their neck.
That they die at the hands of themselves.
Please, don't joke about rape. If you know someone that has been a victim, or is sexually abused often, help them. Don't tell them off. Don't call them a fake. Let the person know that they are still loved. It won't be easy. They won't trust anyone easily, but find a way to help. If they ask that you tell no one, don't tell anyone. Still, try to help.
Your best friend might be struggling right now. Help them.
Way too many lives are lost because of this ordeal.
I know that this small... whatever it is won't get any where. It won't change anyone's mind about the subject. Hell, no one will probably ever see this, but please, don't joke about rape. Just imagine if you were stuck in this situation. You can't leave, you can't say no...
Think.

Remember, I am not being asked to do this. There is no payment coming my way. I have met a lot of people that needed help, but never got it. I am here to talk if you need me. I promise.
With much love,
Jackson, RFA
