>AFTER MATH<
AFTER THE SPLASH WAR was over, the girls decided to take a stroll in hopes of drying themselves out. It was quiet as the two walked side by side, neither knowing what to say.
Jane was the first to break the ice. "So, what's your name?" she blurted out. Agnes looked at the girl alarmed and confused. "My name?" Jane nodded, "You never did tell me. You never really told me anything about yourself."
"Well I could say the same for you," Agnes replied defensively. She never did like being called out. "I suppose you're right. How about this, we each ask each other a question that we both have to answer. That way, we can get to know each other better." Jane explained, nudging Agnes's shoulder with her elbow.
Agnes appeared to be pondering that for a moment before nodding. "I don't see why not. You go first." Jane smiled, before asking the most basic question of all existence.
"What's your name?" Jane asked curiously, wanting to put a name to the girl who had unknowingly stolen her unbeating heart. Agnes released a snort as she shook her head, her red waves bounding back and forth.
"My name? Really?" she asked in an amused tone while looking at the blonde's face. "Well, in my defense, you never told me." Agnes pondered for a moment, before muttering a quick "touché". "My name is Agnes. Agnes McIver. What is yours?"
Jane chuckled while looking at her now not-so-mysterious soul mate. "You already know my name." Agnes held up her hands in defense, her shawl pinched between her fingers in the process. "You're the one that wanted the questions to go both ways."
"Touché. And my name's Jane Volturi, even though you already knew that." Jane said playfully, a small smirk resting on her lips. Agnes rolled her eyes, simply stating that she wasn't the one who had made the rules.
"Your turn Agnes." Jane said, shivering as the name rolled off of her tongue, almost as if it was made for her to say. It was sweet, yet lingered in her mouth like smooth honey. Though, Agnes didn't notice. "What's your favorite color?" the blonde looked at Agnes dubiously. "And you made fun if me for asking a basic question, why?"
Agnes groaned, hitting Jane's stone cold arm playfully, "Just answer me."
"Blue. Baby blue with a hint of gold flecks inside." Jane says without a second thought. Agnes looked to Jane curiously, "Why so specific?" Jane smirked slightly.
"Because it's the color of your eyes."
Agnes blushed scarlet, before answering the question herself. "Mine's deep red." She replied in a small voice, knowing Jane had figured out why.
