Wow it's been three weeks now since my episode with the Sheikh

I was given two days off which seemed as a dream come true for me as I got to spend lots of time with father

Today Rasheed and I were going to the market and the resort for some bonding time as Rasheed fondly calls it

And I almost bent over in laughter...

Rumours has been circulating about that a family friend Sheikh jubril was visiting with their family to honour the new Sheikh

Kissing Rasheeds cheeks, I rushed back to the palace

In time for the meeting
We were 200 in total cleaners and cooks

Sheikha Farah gave instructions on the suites of the palace to be cleaned and ready for sheikh jubril and family

She instructed the cooks to keep their game up and introduced them to their new head chef all the way from Morroco
She bidded everyone to be courteous and graceful and be ever presentable

Foods and drinks were to be in huge supply

Called for another meeting for the cleaners to assign duties

The most beautiful cleaners would be assigned to the guests quarters.. while the rest of us had to slave off every other places

I was assigned to clean the hallways which is usually very much busy so gets dirty easily
I rushed off to drop my things and got in line with my fellow maids and started cleaning till evening I had just finished 7 large hallways and scrubbed the Persian rugs ...

I rushed to have a bath in my quarters and slept off by 9 without dinner
Was just too tired to eat anything

It was 6 in the morning and the chief guards were knocking on everyone's door to wake up and get ready...
Gist had it that their plane will touch down by 2pm in the afternoon

I was reassigned to the sheikh wing with 8 other girls
After cleaning off the bathroom as it was my portion to clean

The bathroom should have been called a bath house or mansion if I wanted to be sarcastic
It was as large as the grand hall with a bath as large as an Olympian swimming pool made from gold

With a large jacuzzi to fit in 30 persons

The sinks and toilet were trimmed with gold
Oversize white curtains with gold thread interwoven at the tips were above

She is always awed by the expanse of this bathroom

She has never seen his bedroom and wondered what it would look like

This place won't clean itself
