And, and, and he got a 6 yes Billy!" said the commentator. crash! Everyone looks up. One of the commentators looks down. The other commentator was left in pain because of the powerful cricket ball that had hit him in the back and gave him a broken spin.
Billy was banned for the club until he could pay for the damage. "Mum I don't want to be banned from the club, can you pay for it?" Billy cried with sadness. "I would Billy but you have used all of my money from the previous windows that you have broken so it is all up to you to pay for it," said Billy's Mum. Billy's emotions loomed closer. His face turned red. Tears ran down his face. He ran to his room. "I will try to find some money but you need to help as well, Ok Billy," said Mum. "Ok, but where will I get the money from?" Billy asked. "Well there are three options. One you can help Gran, two you can help next door and three you can find a newspaper job or something," said Billy's Mum. "OK I will help gran and next door," Billy said disappointment. "That's great Billy, do you want to start now or tomorrow?" Billy's mum said with excitement. "Tomorrow" Billy said.
The next day Billy got a letter from the cricket club and it said: To Billy, the window that you broke costs around $1,000 dollars and the doctors fee costs $163 dollars {for the commentators spin}, Yours Sincerely Club Manner. "What $1,165 dollars, that is insane," said Billy with anger. "We need to work, and fast," said Billy's Mum. Billy walked to his Gran's house. when Billy got there he explain what he is doing and what he needs to do. His Gran gave him a list of jobs to do and they were to: tidy the playing cards up/games, dust the shelves, and re stack the books on the shelves and make her a cup of tea. "That will be at least 165 dollars," his gran said. Billy made the cup of tea first. It took 5 minutes to make and after he had made that he started on his other jobs. He had finished his jobs in under 35 minutes. After he finished his jobs he collected the money from his Gran and went back to his home to show his Mum the money.
"Hey Mum guess what?" Billy said with excitement "What Billy?" said Billy's Mum. "I got 165 dollars from Gran," Billy said. "That's great that means we just need 500 dollars left to pay then you can play cricket again," said Billy's Mum. "500 dollars, how much did you find?" Billy said. "Well I had a secret stash of coins and I added them all up and it made 500 dollars but that is all the money I have left," Billy Mum said. "Now I can go to Grandpa Bob's house" Billy said. "About Grandpa Bob, well he has passed on," Billy's Mum said with sadness. "What, what do you mean by passed on?" said Billy with sadness. "It means died Billy" said Billy's Mum. Tears ran down Billy's face as he fell to his knees with despondence. "Why now I need to play cricket and I can't do this without him," Billy said filling his heart with sadness. "How about going to bed and having a nice long sleep" said Billy's Mum said.
The next day Billy was filled with happiness but then the phone rang saying that Billy's gran has just died from having a heart attack in her sleep. Billy and his mum walked over to grans house to see if she was still there. When they got there, their hearts sank to the bottom of the earth when they saw her. Tears dripped from their faces, it was like an ocean of tears. They walked back home and when they got home they tried to stop crying but they couldn't because they were in too much pain.
"The letter that the cricket club sent us said that they could fundraiser," Billy said trying to make his mum feel better. "Okay I will create a fundraising page on Facebook," said Billy's mum I will say come help us raise $500 dollars to help Billy pay for the window that we broke". While mum was creating the page Billy was entering the cash cow completion on T.V.
The next day Billy and his mum were watching Sunrise the cash cow came on. "And the winner of $1,000,000 is Billy Squirrlebottom from WA". Billy's mum said, "Billy you just won the cash Cow! But how and when did you do this?". Billy replied, "While you were making the fundraising page on face book. I entered and told them the story of how we have to pay for the window but can't now because he have to pay for Grans funeral". The doorbell rang. "The cash cows at the door mum to give us the money", Billy said.
After that day Billy didn't break anymore windows, on purpose or by accident so now I think his mum will have some money after all.
