It all happened so quickly. Screaming, yelling, and pure terror filled the atmosphere, and then everything was gone. I felt lost, everything around me was a blur of dark shapes and blobs moving from one place to another. Muffled shouts hammered into my head, ringing loudly. I tried to cover my ears , but my arms felt like two large masses of led. I called out in frustration and moved my head in a rolling motion back and forth. My left ear was extremely sore to the touch.
A pair of hands started to quickly jostle my shoulders and lift me up. I groaned from the sharp pain that came seconds after. Another pair of hands pushed something off of my legs, revealing a gash in my thigh. Lifting me quickly, the hands shuffled a few meters and plopped me onto something soft. I felt pressure on my thigh and face. My arm was stabbed with something pointy, and the hands stopped moving. I tried to thank them, to reach out and touch them, but everything went black, and I was left to nothing but my thoughts and dreams.
I woke up to the to the sweet hum of music. I slowly fluttered my eyes open. Bright lights shone down on me, visibly blinding me. After my eyes adjusted, I peered down to my stomach, and saw a blue knit blanket folded neatly over my body. I turned my head, but stopped once a sharp twang erupted through my neck and back. I snapped back into my original position and sighed. Slowly, I tried to raise my right arm, and successfully moved my fingers in small motions. I smiled slightly at my small accomplishment. Then, doing so with my left arm, I rested. I heard the music stop abruptly, and strained my eyes to see why. A small woman slipped out of the door in a hurried motion, and waved at others that were passing by. She seemed nice, and she carried a good tune.
Soon after the woman's departure, another woman came into sight. She hovered over me and smiled. She presumably sat down and cleared her throat. "I am doctor Smith", she said happily. Doctor? "I am glad to see you are awake. You had been out for about a week or so, and I wasn't sure weather you would wake up. Your vital signs were very unusual for a coma patient".
Coma? I felt a rumbling in my throat as I tried to speak. "Ah, just rest dear. Don't over work yourself. I will check on you later". With that, she left me. I was alone. What happened to me? The last thing I can remember is... this question stumped me. I thought hard about this, but I came to the conclusion that I simply forgot. I simply forgot what felt like my whole existence.
