Tyler POV
After I came back from changing and cleaning up, I walked in on Troye singing a song that sounded vaguely familiar but I really had no idea where I've heard it before. And I've heard Troye singing before, like in the music room, but this was the first time I've seen him singing in front of the others. They were all staring at him, some slack jawed like Zoë and Marcus and Hannah, and some in a bit of a daze, as if they couldn't process the words but only the rich sound his voice made, lulling them away, like Caspar and Mamrie.
Once he stopped, he looked up, and I realized he didn't realize how intently everyone was watching him. I started clapping slowly, and soon enough everyone else joined in, and I cheered and a couple people whistled and hollered, and Troye smiled hesitantly at first, until it grew into a full on white-toothed grin of pure joy. Seeing his face that bright was enough to make me about 99.9% happier.
I raised a glass and toasted to him, because he deserved it, and everyone joined in full-heartedly. Obviously, some people were still really drunk, therefore spilling their drinks and slurring their praise, but I don't think Troye noticed or cared about that.
Soon after the cheering died down a bit, Hannah suggested that we play Truth or Dare, to keep up with tradition.
"Let's do it!" I yelled.
"Sure," Troye supplied.
"Sounds good," Soë said. Everyone else said their assents, except for Caspar, who had to walk away for a moment to vomit. Once he got back, he seemed perfectly fine, and just plopped down next to Joe to play with us.
"Who starts?" Marcus asked.
"I'll go," Joe said. "Marcus, Truth or Dare?"
He thought for a moment, then said,"Dare."
Joe grinned, and said,"I dare you to switch clothes with the person to your left." The person was Grace, who was wearing short denim cutoffs and a white tank top. Marcus groaned, but Joe honestly let him off easy. He could've switched with Troye, who was no doubt several sizes smaller than him.
"Come on, Marcus, let's do this," Grace said. She didn't seem bothered by changing, but she was only putting on jeans and a slightly-larger-than-her-size t-shirt. They walked into the woods, and we all waited in anticipation for them to come back. Grace strolled out first, looking nonchalant in the baggy clothing.
"Where's Marcus?" Niomi asked.
Grace shrugged, and said,"I don't know what's taking him so long. He got the top on quickly." He turned her attention to the woods, and shouted,"Hurry up, Marcus, what's taking so long!?"
I muffled reply came from the woods a moment later, as Marcus shouted,"I couldn't get the zipper working!" Some rustling. "Okay, I'm coming back. Hold on," and a few seconds later, Marcus walked out of the woods with a red face, and I busted out laughing at the sight.
Grace's shorts are shorter than Marcus's boxers, so his red underwear was sticking out from underneath. The tank top was stretched slightly around his torso, but definitely small over his shoulders. Marcus looked like he couldn't breath as well in his new clothes, and I had a feeling he was strained underneath the shorts, if you know what I mean.
After the laughing died down a bit, which still involved me hyperventilating, Marcus said,"Alright, my turn. Caspar, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare," he said without hesitating.
"I dare you to twerk on Hannah."
His head slumped down as everyone started laughing and cheering,'Caspannah for the win!', and reluctantly, he got up, and twerked pretty weakly about a foot in front of Hannah's face. She was red in the face from laughing so hard, and Caspar stopped after a only about ten seconds. Mamrie reached over and slapped his ass, causing him to shriek like a girl and jump away from the girls, making us laugh even more.
