Sacrifice for hunger

I had to get this out of my head already. This one-shot will have Vampire Diaries and Twilight elements. If you know what they are, you can spot them. Enjoy!!!

In the mid 80s, Cher was having trouble with her career so she was laying low. On day she witnessed something unusual, a vampire feeding off someone. Her name was Faith, Cher wasn't supposed to see her. When Faith was about to kill Cher, she begged her not to. The only way Faith could think of for Cher to keep her silence was to turn her, so she did. It was very difficult at first but Faith taught Cher everything there was to know about being a vampire.

Aside from the basic vampire abilities they all had like super speed, super strength and compulsion. Every species had one or two unique abilities. While Faith had telepathy and transformation into animals, Cher had developed the ability to alter her appearance to look like whoever she wanted or to look older. That one was a point in her favor because no one would know she was a vampire. It was also her favorite because everyone knew Cher hated getting old.

Cher was not the type who fed off of other humans. She preferred animals, it was like being a vegetarian, at least that is what Faith tells. The only human that knew about Cher being a vampire was her best friend Paulette. She had caught Cher at the start of 1996 in the middle of the night sucking on a raw chicken she had killed. At first she was really scared but she knew Cher and let her explain. After that Pauly didn't mind but for the first weeks it was kind of awkward until she got use to it. Faith was a little hesitant when she found out Pauly knew but Cher protected and trusted her best friend so it was ok. From then on, Pauly took care of searching for blood for Cher to eat. She had passed from animals and managed to make a deal with a blood bank and gave them some bags. Of course they had been sworn to secrecy by Faith but it worked.

Time passed and by now Cher, Pauly and Faith had a system. Because of work, Faith would take the bags to wherever the women went so no one would find out. Sometimes She would disappear for a while and Pauly carried a mini fridge with the blood bags that had lock and key. Since Georganne had joined the team, it was a little difficult for Cher to eat because her sister wouldn't leave her side. They were working now in the Dress to Kill tour. Cher made fun of it because the song reflected her secret identity. The costume was easy to pick and the fake fangs weren't needed since Cher had real fang. Though nobody knew this so she had to pretend to put the real ones. Everything was going great until one night of the tour, Cher Hadn't eaten blood that day so she was a little snappy. Faith had disappeared a couple of days ago, there were no news and the blood bags were almost gone. Georganne and Paulette were with her in the dressing room setting everything up for her performance. Stood up and started pacing, her hunger was getting bigger.

Gigi noticed and got worried "Stupid are you ok?" She asked

Cher stopped her tracks and stared at her, she could feel the warmth of her body. Her sisters blood coursing through her veins. It was torture, she faked a small smile and spoke "I'm just a little hungry" she lied, she was craving blood

Gigi gave her a confusing look "But you just ate dinner" that was true, normal food sustained her so she wouldn't give in to sucking off of people.

"I know but I'm hungry and thirsty" Cher said firmly, Pauly shot a look at her best friend. She knew what Cher was thinking.

"Gigi you can bring her something from the cafeteria right?" Pauly suggest nervously

"But that's upastairs" she argued

"Well you better get going, go go go" Pauly rushed and then Gigi was gone
