Lumiere was getting my measurements while I was looking out towards the Isle. I've been thinking about the Isle a lot recently. I had finally made a decision.

The door opened and my parents walked in. "How is it possible you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" said my father. "He's turning sixteen, Dear," my mother said, defending me from embarrassment. "Sixteen! I didn't make a good decision until I was at least forty-two," my father continued embarrassing me. My mother looked at him questionably. "Uh, you decided to merry me at twenty-eight." My father looked at her with love in his eyes. "Ah. It was either you or the teapot," he said jokingly. After see my mother's glare, he said,"Kidding."

"Mom, Dad," I said, about to step off the podium only to be stopped by Lumiere. I stepped back onto the podium and continued my statement. "I've chosen my first official proclamation." This seemed to have caught their attention. "I've decided the children on the Isle Of The Lost..." I paused to glance at the island. "Be given a chance to live here in Auradon."

Mother dropped the jacket she was holding, which I hadn't noticed until now, and Father stared at me, wide eyed. "The children of our sworn enemies living among us!?" shouted Father. "We start out a few at first," I said trying to reassure him as it seems my mother didn't really mind at the time. "I've already chosen them." I stepped off the podium much to Lumiere's demise. "Have you?" my father said angrily. Mother put a hand on his shoulder to calm him, finally getting out of her trance. "I gave you a second chance." Seems like she's on my side. "Who are their parents?" she asked turning to me. "Cruella De Vil, Jafar, The Evil Queen, Mother Gothel and..." I paused, not wanting to scare them with the next villain. "Maleficent."

Lumiere bowed and hurriedly ran away. "Maleficent!? She's the worst villain in the land!" shouted Father. "Mother Gothel? Isn't Amy Rapunzel's daughter?" Mother asked. "Yes, but they're the one's who need our help the most," I answered. "Well,"Mother said looking at Father, then back at me. "Well done." She looped her arm with Father. "Shall we?" she asked him. He nodded and they started walking out.

I looked back towards the and island and thought...

I hope I made a good choice.
