I was sitting on the couch with huey. He was laying on my lap looking up at the ceiling,while i was reading amd combing my fingers through his afro. I pulled out one knot in his hair and he flinched....

Y/n:"Sorry bae."

I kissed his forehead while scracthing his scalp. He hummed in pleasure and laid back down. I weny back to reading when Grandad came up to us. I didn't even look up from my book until huey sat up...

H:"What is it now Grandad?"

G:"Ohh i just got off the phone with Mr Wuncler. He asked me to ask you guys...."

Y/n:"Yea what is it...?"

G:"If you would play kickball with his team..."

H y/n:"What!?"

Y/n:"Oh hell no grandad!"

G:"But why not?"

H:"I'm never playing kickball again."

Y/n:"Same here."

G:"Come on, kids, you have to do this. Ed Wuncler asked for you kids by name."

H:"It's because of him I quit the game in the first place and gave Jennifer Herman a permanent, severe limp."

Y/n:"And everyone is scardd of me for breaking someones wrist. Hey it wasnt my fault he tripped me..."

G:"Look, nobody need to be reminded of that tragic day when you gave that girl a permanent, severe limp and gave that poor boy a broken wrist. It was the junior league championship against Wuncler's team, and ed had paid off the ref. And, oh, you guys were losing bad."

Me and huey looked at eachother and went to flashback mode...

Announcer:"It was a blow-out. They were calling him the Tiger Woods of kickball before the wife-cheating thing. Now they just call him loser."

It was huey's turn up the plate. Everybody was laughing and booing us. Especially huey...

Crowd:"Huey, you suck!"

H:"Huh?"

Crowd:"You suck!"

G:"Then the crowd started laughing at you, and we all know you don't like to be laughed at. And you snapped. You went crazy!"

Huey did go crazy. He threw the ball so hard it hit the girl in the stomach...

Girl:"Aah!"

We all stood there speechless. She hit her back at the fence. The paramedics came and grabbed her....

Announcer:"Freeman has hit her with the pitch! Oh, the horror! And, believe me, folks, this was no accident! He meant to do that! If that girl is still alive, she will undoubtedly have a permanent and severe limp. One thing is certain -- she will never play kickball again, and neither should Huey Freeman."

*End of game*

Everybody was shaking hands. I went towards this boy who looked at me and snickered. He grabbed my hand but tripped me with his foot. Only huey saw this and was walking over. I stopped him and stood up. I smiled at the boy who was laughing.
