Diana's POV:

"Clean this up peasant, you're lucky to even work in the castle," James the butler in the castle has ever so pointed out. I moved to the kitchen to get the day ready with the cooks, mainly cause Beatrix gives me free food so I don't have to steal any. After I eat I head over to the massive wall of dishes. I sigh as I know I have to get this done or else I get kicked out of here. I hurriedly completed the task and then rushed to the dining area where the royals were eating their breakfast.

I didn't get far until James grabbed my arm and dragged me against the wall. I pleaded for him to let me go but to no use. Struggling against a strong man is useless, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't keep fighting. Then I hear a booming voice "let her go now". I opened my eyes to find the king standing before us. James' grip is harder as he doesn't let go. Stating that he was just punishing me for wondering the castle.

The kings eyes were hard as stone and the fury behind them made me start to shake out of fear. James next to me smelled funny until I noticed that he peed himself, disgusting. I tried to pull my arm free and in doing so I heard a pop from my wrist. immense pain had laced through my arm like fire. I just knew it was broken. Grinding teeth to not show any pain I let my arm fall to my side. Not letting a single tear out I managed to say that I was just going to see if their were any dishes that they royals were done with. The king sneered and yelled "guards." The guards came running in and disposing of the piece of trash man out of our sight. As soon as he left I was scurrying away to bandage my arm.

But the kind voice stopped me "let me take you to the hospital ward." I was shaking my head no, the pain unbearable but I don't want to get noticed and I still needed to get the dishes done. The king standing there and promptly asking another guard to give him some bandages and the king walked near me and gently sat me on the bench saying he'll bandage me instead of going to the ward. I sat there uncomfortable as the king started to clean and dress my wound. I just wanted to get out of the dining hall so I can hurry up and clean.

The king stood up and asked for my name, I stared at him in the eyes in bewilderment wondering why the king needed my name. I muttered Diana as I avoided his gaze without saying anything more I rushed off to the kitchen before he could stop me. Sighing in relief as I got out of that situation. I stared at the mountain of dishes that had piled up since the last time I had done them.
