Chapter five

Makaila'sPOV
I saw the front door I started running then tripped and fell sending kera in the air " oww" i said crying " kera i think i broke my leg" then we heard guns no machine guns but since  we were on the ground we where fine except me i was shot in the other leg then they stopped " MAKAILA" kera said crawling over to me. I tried to get up but i failed and fell " look i might be able to walk a little if you pit some weight on the leg you got shot in" kera said . I nodded my head and we began to slowly walk toward the door but it was locked then i saw box on the wall that read 'EXPLOSIVES' "kera over there" i said she crawled over to the box and opened it then pulled out a gun. "Ok wow i wish i knew this was here an hour ago" she said then shot the lock and then i opened the door and saw blue sky's and i smiled.

Kera'sPOV
Finally we escaped but i am in so much pain. Me and Makaila stood up supporting each other and walked down the steps and just when i thought it was over i was stabbed in my leg with a knife and Makaila was stabbed in the back i turned around to see kale smiling at us with a gun in his hand. I pointed my gun at him " let us leave" i said on the verge of tears " and give me one reason why i should" " well because if you do then we wont tell the police" Makaila said " how do i know you wont betray me" he said " because" i said then shot him three time to make sure he was dead then me and Makaila got out of there as fast as we could only to realize we where in the middle of no where " Kera pull out your phone and see if we any signal" i did as she said but there was no signal i shook my head no

" lets walk to higher ground and see if we can find anything to help us" we started walking but it was hard.
(30minutes later)
We have been walking forever. " Kera look" Makaila said i looked and in the distance i saw a village we started to run as fast as our body would allow us to.
