"Appa?" The sound of her soft voice beamed through Jungkook's door, which was partly closed, a habit he had which he thought may be useful at times like this. Meaning, times when Jeon Soyeon needed his father at random times, being awoken from her sleep, getting little hungry or simply needing her father's warmth. This time it was the second reason, she needed her father to cuddle and in fact, it was slightly raining.
What's more amazing than cuddling in a warm bed, with their favourite person when it's raining?
Exactly.
She tiptoed to take a better look at her father, who's slight snores were evident through the walls. Soyeon could only sigh hanging her head low, feeling bad for her father. She didn't like her father sleeping on his uncomfortable table using his arms as his pillow. She knows in fact that it's terrible after waking up, because she once has experience with sleeping in her class and all she felt was her limbs being numb.
Soyeon wonders.
'Won't Appa feel the same?'
But right, she always saw Jungkook as her hero and heroes don't feel that way.. right? That's how her father taught her and Soyeon decided to go easy, as every other time she would spot Jungkook sleeping in his desk. But that didn't stop her from going to Jungkook and spreading her arms and hugging Jungkook's back, kissing his cheek softly.
"Soyeonie?"
A sleepy Jungkook ringed and slowly straightened up, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes as he yawned.
A soft set of giggles escaped Soyeon's lips as she brought his index finger and placed it inside Jungkook's mouth, dramatically yelping wjen Jungkook immediately locked his jaws, careful not to bite his baby's finger.
"Gotcha! my baby.. come're"
Jungkook pulled the little girl into his lap and held her tight on his chest, "What made you come to Appa this late, hm?"
Soyeon gave him puppy eyes and pouted every so adorably, "I can't sleep, Appa.."
"Aigo, are you nervous?"
Jungkook received a hesitant nod from his princess as he chucked, appreciating her improving bravery instead of crying like she used to do times back.
"Princess, everything will be fine don't worry! Appa is always there with my baby.. You'll do more than great tomorrow and aigo.. It's late," He mumbled softly glancing at the digital clock which was there on his desk, indicating 23:34.
Soyeon let her father carry her to his bed and the next moment the covers were pulled over her, Jungkook watching her fondly as she snuggled deeper into the covers.
"Sleep with Appa, okay princess? I'll come in a minute,"
"Don't you have work to do still, Appa?" Her tone was whiny and Jungkook knew he had to deal with them for the sake of his job, and he didn't want her baby to feel sad either. So, he gave her a small smile before turning away from her, starting to go to his desk. "I'll finish them up after you sleep, baby.."
Soyeon didn't want to be selfish, she knew that her father was doing everything to make her feel happy. The last thing she did was to complain about anything, she always made it up to whatever Jungkook's choice was. Not once she was hesitant to do so.
