Conner drives up to Cyberlife, and parks not too close to the building. Hank looks at Conner, "Don't you think this is too dangerous? Remember the last time we were here, it wasn't all that welcoming." Hank said worried. Conner hands him the keys, "If anything happens I'll protect you. I brought enough ammunition for our guns if any androids are still here for security." Hank frowns, "And what if you get hit Conner? You aren't able to come back like you did a few times right?" Conner was silent and just smiles, "Guess I have one life like you, Lieutenant. But I'll be fine, you need to worry about yourself."
Hank did not like what was said, "Maybe you should also worry about yourself...losing a friend is one thing I don't need, not to mention a..." Hank trails off intentionally. "Forget it, let's just do this." Conner wondered what he was trying to say, but agreed with him and headed out the car, walking side by side to the building. Conner scans the place before entering by touching a communication machine that is wired throughout the systems. "All traces lead to one room, and it's below this place, past the manufacturing area and into the testing bay. Someone is trying to get out, but the signal is very faint." Conner says to Hank who is clearly not happy. "I really hate this spooky ass place." Conner opens the doors that lead to the lobby area, he leads Hank to an elevator that needs power to get it moving. "I might need to reroute the power to the main circuit here in the lobby. I need you to wait here and tell me if the power is on." He hands Hank a walkie talkie.
"Sure..thing." Hank takes the walkie talkie and gives Conner the seriously be careful look. Conner nods and heads to the generators that were powered off, the main power conduit was cut. "They didn't want the power running anywhere, but they forgot the generators can be used to power the entire place for emergencies. The only down side is that they broke the connection to the main outlet for these generators, without any additional....wait a minute, but they overthought and didn't think of an Android prevention from hacking the core systems." Conner smirks and places his hand on the main converter for the generators. He hacks it making the lights and all power coming to life. But when he was connected to the core systems he felt a jolt and a voice screaming in pain, he lets go of the converter. His eyes widen in shock, a literal shock. He looked at his hand, it turning back to the skin color rather than the white when he is interfacing with any cyber tech. "...There is something definitely going on here." He walks back out to the Lobby, Hank was waiting at the elevator. "Whats with that face?" He asked at Conner's bewildered eyes. "Someone is here Hank, and they are connected to this place, hurting..." Hank raised a brow, "Now who was crazy enough to do that? Are they an android or human?" He asks Conner. The thing that scared him more was that he didn't know. "I have no idea."
"For God's sake we better find out, I don't know if they are friendly but we need to get to the bottom of this and quick." Conner nods and opens the Elevator walking inside along with Hank holding his gun now. Conner followed protocol and then pressed the lowest level button on the Elevators interface. The elevator doors shut and they quickly went downwards. They reach the manufacturing bay and the doors open, the machines that made androids were turned off android parts were scattered and in buckets, none of them were connected or had any signs of life. Hank made a face now, "You got to be kidding me, this is creepy as hell." Conner raised his arms up and searched around for the additional testing room. He walks out and hears someone sobbing in a door in the far side of the room. There was a sign saying Confidential area, deadlocked. "Well I'll be damned, someone was left here and locked up." Hank remarked still keeping close to Conner. When they reached the door Conner places his hand hesitantly on the door lock. "State your identification." The door lock demanded. "Rk-900 unit." Conner replies. "Requesting to unlock...failed." Conner shoots the door lock it sputtering in sparks as the door loosened. "Well that was easy..." Hank said with a small smile. Conner opens the door seeing computers and monitors lining the room with a chair illuminated in the middle. A woman was sitting in the chair with wires lining her head and left side of her body. While a single IV hung beside her connected to her right forearm. She was crying pitifully. Conner and Hank's eyes widened, "This is messed up." Hank broke the silence while Conner ran up to her side, "Mam I'm Conner, We are with the police and we are gonna get you out of here." Her blonde hair was messy, her clothes like a white jumpsuit that clung to her frail body. She wearily looks up at him, her eyes multicolored and stained with watered tears. "...I..didn't do anything wrong, why did this happen, where's Father?" She says as Conner takes out her IV and disconnects her from the wires. Conner looked at her back realizing. "Kristene...Morgan?" He asks, her eyes roll to the back of her head and shut closed a blue substance trailing out of her nose and mouth. "What is she?" Hank asks. Conner catches her before she falls out the horrific chair. He looks at Hank, "She's human combined with Thirium...she was infused and her body was manipulated to use that Thirium to survive." He says sickened. Hank puts his gun at his hip and comes over by him and Kristene. "They were planning to come back Hank, they placed an IV to make sure she could survive until they were ready to come back." Hank huffed disturbed as well. "I hate to say this but once again you're right, and we can't stay here, you carry her since you're stronger than me, I'll cover you if any obstacles come our way." Hank instructed for an idea. Conner did as was said, he placed his own gun at his hip and picked her up. Her head resting at his neck and arms folded into her body. He held her back and legs and followed Hank out of the room. The room started to beep in a loud noise, Conner frantic tells Hank, "Run and head to the Elevator I'm gonna find the chip and destroy it." He says knowing what caused the alarm, he knew something would come up. "Like I said that was too easy, let's worry about that after we get out of here." Hank runs to the elevator as well as Conner following. Hank hits the Lobby button and the elevator doors as they both ran in. Hank holds his gun out waiting, the elevator doors open, they quickly ran out as the elevator shuts down whilst the lights powering out. They make it outside the door, "They will be here any minute we need to get out of here." Conner says over the loud siren, Hank nods and smirks, "And I'll drive us out of here." Conner frowns, "This is not gonna end well." They get to the car, Conner places Kristene in the back pulling Sumo's dog blanket over her just in case. Conner runs over to the passenger side while Hank gets his keys ready and sits down in his seat closing the door behind him. He places the key in the ignition and switches to drive taking off quickly and carefully. Conner shuts his door quick and looks back at where Kristene was laying down. "I'll get the chip, just drive carefully Hank." Conner says slightly paranoid. "Heh you bet your shiny ass I'll be careful, we're going to my place, so make it quick." Hank replies back. Conner was displeased again but agrees. He takes the blanket off and uses his x-ray vision on her body to find the chip, once he spots it in her left arm he starts to cut it out with his index finger, that formed a small blade. He takes the chip out and crushes it, he then throws it outside of the car which lands in the streets causing it to get further crushed by other cars that passed by. He then sealed up the cyborg like arm with a welding tool in his hand. "Alright it's done." Hank nods, "Good...now tell me, what sick douche bag did that to her, her own father?" He asks upset. Conner sighs, "She seemed distressed and asked about her father before she lost consciousness. Indicating that maybe that's true." Hank is disturbed and angered now, "No parent should ever hurt their kid like this, this is in-humane." The woman stirs, Conner inspects and sees she is feeling cold, he places the blanket back over her. She is terrified as she feels the warmth of the blanket and her eyes open scanning her surroundings afraid. Kristene screams and it scares Hank, but he tries to remain calm on the roads. Conner places his hands up showing her he means her no harm. She gets up and scoots all the way back to the seat folding her legs up to her chest. Conner opens up the dashboard compartment and takes out a candy bar. He opens it and breaks a piece off handing it to her. "Judging by what you went through I'm sure you never got to eat any real food." She looks at his offer of food and hesitantly takes it munching on it slowly until it was gone. "...I've seen you before, in my head...and many others with numbers...you are an RK unit...with a number of 900." she says out of nowhere. Conner looks at Hank who looks back at him, "We're almost there." Conner looks back at Kristene, "You saw me, in your head?" She nods and touches the left side of her head. "They replaced everything with metal and blue blood, father said I'd help with his work. And make it a success, but he didn't say how. I passed out and woke up different." Hank drives up to a house, a dog barks within it. The car comes to a complete stop and the engine dies, Hank looks back. "Miss you're safe, you don't have to worry about anything, all I implore you to do is to clean up, eat, and rest. Conner here will look after you, as I will have a word with my supervisors down at the station. In secret of course." Kristene has a small smile but it fades a bit. "Doctor Yaegar will be a bit upset...they will try to find me..." Conner and Hank look at each other thinking. Conner replies back, "Then we'll make sure they never find you, and you can live here as long as you need till they are found and put behind bars." Kristene looks down, "I hope so, but they might want me dead...you see...I'm the cause of the blue people to think for themselves...I just wanted them to be free." Hank looks back again, "Come inside...we'll talk about this later." Conner nods surprised. Kristene gives an acknowledging glance and takes the blanket, wrapping it around herself. "I also thank you...Conner for helping wake everyone up...I felt you wake them..."She said giving him a genuine thank you. Hank opens his door and walks out closing behind him. Conner opens his side door and closes it, he then opens her side door. She looks up at him as he gestures his hand to her so she could get up and out. She takes his hand with hers wobbly walking out and leaning against him to keep herself up. He decides to carry her again, she is caught by surprise and holds on to him afraid to fall. "Miss Morgan, it's ok, you aren't going to fall, I'm carrying you until you gain strength and balance in your legs." She nods pitifully as he walks to Hank's house, Hank standing there at the door watching them. Conner makes it up to him and Hank opens his door in which Sumo bark and jumps, whining profusely.
