I think that Roger would give Ruby vibes due to him being a fire sign (Astrology terms-Leo), and his attitude when it comes to the ones he loves.
Roger belongs to Yellow diamond, one of the four gem rulers of S.U.
This is their regular forms, and I know that Ruby, and Sapphire get married, but lets take it slow.
Of course when Roger is angry: he heard up things that are around him due to his fire-y emotions.
His gem sits on the palm of his right hand.

I think that Brian gives a Sapphire vibe due to his calm demeanor, and attitude.
Very emotional at times.(hAh, me)
He belongs to Blue diamond, of course. That's where his emotional demeanor comes from, as for Blue is a emotional diamond.
Sapphire has the power to float, and freeze things around her.
Freezing things comes from her emotions.
Being able to float calms down Brian, and relaxes him.
