I don't know why..
I don't know how did it happen..
All I know is that..
I did... Fell in love..
With my Best Friend.
The problem with falling in love with your best friend is that you can't talk about it with your best friend...
"Oh hi Diana?? What a small world. Akalain mo dito pa tayo magkikita." sambit ng babaeng lumapit sa table nina Diana at Franki.
"ah.. Uhm hi, long time no see." nauutal na saad ni Diana na tila gulat na gulat sa nakita.
"yeah it's been months I think since the day we br-" agad naman na pinutol ni ate girl ang sasabihin niya nang magsalita si Diana.
"ahm, Louise, this is Franki, Franki this.. is Louise, yeah.." Diana's being weird now.
"ah Hi, nice to meet you." inilahad ni Franki ang kanyang kamay sa harap ng babaeng nagngangalang Louise.
"Hi, so you're Franki, the long time best friend of Diana." nakipagshake hands din naman ito kay Franki.
Tila may dumaang anghel sa panandaliang katahimikan.
"uhm.. Ehem.." Diana as she clears her throat and to break the silence at the same time.
"ahm sorry I didn't mean to disturb you guys, I have to go." nang makaramdam si Louise ay agad na tumayo ito at nakipagbeso kay Franki.
"nice seeing you again, let's hang out some time. I miss you." niyakap niya naman ng mahigpit si Diana at bago pa tuluyang umalis ay mariin na hinawakan nito ang kamay niya na siya namang ipinagtaka ni Franki.
Franki's POV

Diana became quiet nang may bumati sa kanyang girl.
She has the same height as mine, pretty and skinny din. Seems that she and Diana were very close pero bakit parang now ko lang siya nakita.
"nice seeing you again, let's hang out some time. I miss you." sabi ni Louise na parang may something..
I just looked away while they're saying goodbye to each other. Di ko alam pero bakit parang may mali. I don't understand.
"hah.. I'm so full.." bulong ni Diana nang makaalis yung girl.
"so where are we up to next??" her voice kinda cracking but she's smiling.
"up to you." bahagya akong ngumiti at hininhintay kong magsalita siya.
"hmm let's hit the road na." tumayo siya nagyaya ng lumabas sa pizza parlor na parang walang nangyari.
Nandito na kami sa car. She's on the steering wheel while I'm on the passenger seat.
Tahimik kaming pareho. While on traffic di ko alam na nakaidlip na pala ako.
"hey we're here." I heard she whispered at me.
"where are we??" nagtaka kong tanong pero di na niya nasagot kasi lumabas agad siya at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto.
"tada!!!!" as she open her arms wide.
Naamaze naman ako sa view. Nasa isang mataas na cliff kami along the highway na tanaw ang city under the beautiful sunset.
"wow, it's really pretty." sabi at at niyakap siya ng mahigpit.
We stayed there for a moment sitting in front of her car.
Nagulat na lang ako nang may iabot siyang bottle ng beer from her back seat.
"how'd you get these??" i asked in confusion.
"I bought it earlier, nag stop shop ako ng mabilis while you're asleep." then she get her first drink.
"oh, I didn't know that I'd deeply fell asleep sorry hehe." sabay peace sign.
"okay lang sanay na ko." malayo ang tanaw niya parang ang lalim ng iniisip.
"so, who's the girl earlier??" I hardly can't remember her name.
"wala yun. An old friend." iniwas niya ang tingin niya para lumagok ulit sa bote.
"hmm, what happened to us not keeping secrets from each other??" tanong ko ulit. I am so eager to know kung sino ba yun sa buhay niya, coz it's feel so freaking weird.
I heard her deep sigh. She kept being quiet about it. I knew her more than anyone else. Alam kong she's hiding something and not yet ready to say it. So I'll give her a time..
"you know what let's just go home. It's getting late na." she literally ignored my question. I knew it.
"I wanna go to the Bar." sabi ko as we got in the car.
"okay. Let's go then." she started the engine.
This place is 10 mins away from the bar so mabilis lang kaming nakarating.
