Boy Bands

One thing to know about me is that I HATE flirtly boy bands. These "heartthrobs" throw out a single about getting the girl or the girl rejecting them and BOOM! Guess who became a worldwide sensation? Yeah, the dudes that play acoustic guitars and gaze at the camera. There are two particularly popular boy bands that I'm referring to, and you should know one.

That's right. One Direction is at the top of my hit list.

British boys dressed in skinny jeans and gelled up hair. When they came out a few years ago I liked them. Well, I loved them. I downloaded all of their songs on my iPod, hung posters on my wall and bought only OFFICIAL merchandise. I would even buy a magazine just for the full length poster of the boys.

One day I snapped out of my confusion and said, "Why?".

These boys, in my opinion, are hypnotizing the world's teen girls into a lifeless, worshipping state. These girls buy all of their latest albums, stalk their Twitter and ask their parents if they would let her go to the next concert. I know a ton of people who love them. One reason I hate these boy bands is because they break up relationships. Girls set their standards way too high for guys because they want that picture perfect, skinny jeans wearing boy. People I know don't like me anymore because I've hated on the boys.

Now the other boy band I HATE (In bold letters) Is "5SOS". If you do not know who they are, they are a four member Australian band. Now, they are totally different from One Direction. From the very first time I heard somebody mention "Five Seconds of Summer" I looked at them weirdly and said "No, there are three months of Summer.

That person laughed and showed me a picture of them and I almost threw up... Literally.

They are a boy band from my home country that also sing about losing the girl but then getting her back or something along the lines of that. I never EVER liked them. They are on a whole 'nother level. Just EUGH!

The songs they sing about are always the same. It's about a girl either:

~Running Away

~Not feeling loved

~Feeling too loved

~Running away but then coming back

~to popular and pretty to ever get with

There are more but those are the ones I thought of at the top of my mind.

%15 about having a massive party

Like f**k.

They get so successful by hypnotizing girls to love them and worship them like gods.

I say take off the skinny jeans, wash out that hair gel and take off the penguin suit top.
