THE VACATION

---“hey! Kate, in here!” Mike shouted inside the restaurant Bellboys with Ella and the new guy I’ve meet a couple weeks ago, James.
“Your late, kitty Kat.” Said Ella with her small voice.
--“thank you for your hospitality Miss. Ella”.
“You’re welcome Katty”. She laughs like she’s whispering.
James just smiled at me “Hello Kate”. .His smile crinkle’s his eyes with his perfect teeth.
“Guys listen”.. Interrupted Mike.
“This week is our last free week, I mean, NO class week! Its semestral break, and the coming of another second semester guys.”
“So what is the big news out there Mike??.” I ask.
--“yeah Mike.” Added James, biting some sandwich of Bellboys.
“Guys, we need a vacation, all of us! I mean that I wanted to be Epic and worth it for our semBreak and it is the last week of our break so we need to make our last week a getaway!” Mike shouted.
James swallowed his sandwich "Mike volume plea--"
“--Mike, are you mad? Or something? We don’t have any money and where the hell are we goin’ ?.” I ask with no agreement.
Mike opened his backpack and he showed us some papers. It’s a ticket! Four tickets! For all of us..
“w-what the--?” Ella’s eyes widen with a surprise.
“Where d’you get that?” James asks, scratching his straight bouncy hair in confuse.
“Mom just won in some online contest, Then the price is 20,000 pesos and four-ticket plane and I told her that I don’t want any Christmas gifts if she gave me the tickets, then she did!”. Mike said with a devilish smile.
“Whoa! Wait a minute..! So you mean that—“said Ella
“Yes! Ella, we are goin to have a vacation baby!” as Mike interjected the sentence of Ella.
I know Mike since in second grade before Ella and Caleeb my ex-Boyfriend, Caleeb, I kept thinkin' about him, I don't know if he is doin' the same way like I did thinking of him every minute, Caleeb who cheated on me with Jane the badminton player, the Miss High School and the brat bitches leader. I keep thinking about what happened back there at the restaurant when Caleeb and I were arguing about their Torrid and very intimate kiss with Jane behind the Basketball court and he didn't admit about it at first.
“Cabe i know the truth about you and Jane Basa, so please! Accept it that you cheated on me!” I said angrily at him while we were sitting to a table next to the counter of the restaurant. . “Okay! Yeah! We kissed but Kate I am sorry for what happen with us, I mean with Jane, I love you Kate, so I am very sorry.” He said holding my hand and makin’ this face like Puss n’ Boots in the movie Shrek. But I jerked my hand off his hand and I am starting to cry, my tears rolled down in my face and I can’t help it like my chest is in the oven or in some tropical place inside of me. “Caleeb.i love you too. But..” A silence between us and our eyes stared at each other for a sec. “I’m breakin’ up with you Caleeb” his eyes drowned like he killed someone and guilty at court.
