Chapter Sixteen

"Y/N," I got startled by Zujin. "So where?"

"Remember Serenity Resto?" I asked. "It's not far from here, we can just walk."

"Well I thought you're really hungry. Why waste time walking when there's so many to choose from here?" Jun asked.

"Because I like it there. I would risk anything for the things I like." I sounded serious.

"O-okay," The couple said in unison.

"Just kidding, we can just go to the nearest one here." I quickly took back my words.

"Let's go there," Minghao said. "Serenity Resto." He added.

"What?!" Jun half-shouted. "We're all hungry let's just eat here."

"I thought this occasion is for me so I'm the boss here," Minghao smirked. "Besides the name of that place sounds familiar so maybe I can fetch some memories there,"

And there it is, he's so motivated to get his memories back. But why am I feeling so strange.

While walking Zujin wrapped her arms around mine. "Y/N you're not angry at us right? You won't be?" she asked while leaning her head on my shoulder. "You won't right? Palli answer me. Promise me."

"I won't if it's a good thing." I answered.

"It's kind of good. Pinky promise." She put out her pinky so we can promise each other.

"Kind of?" I ask doubtfully.

"Just do it." She was still insisting. "Come on."

"Make sure-" she didn't even let me finish my sentence because she already covered my mouth.

This people seriously why am I feeling strange. I didn't even realise that we are already at the Resto. We went in to get a table and started ordering for our food.

"Y/N, what would you like to order?" Minghao asked.

"The usual thing," I replied casually.

"Oh okay," he replied. "One chocolate cake and babo latte please." I heard him ordered my favourites.

"Mwo?!" Minghao looked at me shocked. I glance at Jun and Zujin and they were just ignoring the situation. "How did you remember that?! "

Minghao's eyes were uneasy after I asked.

"Zujin reminded me," he sounded making up an excuse.

"When?!"

"Just now," Zujin inserted. "Y/N can you please accompany Jun to where he could buy -" Zujin didn't even finish her sentence and just drag me and Jun to go outside.

We were already outside and Jun just drag me to somewhere.

"So what are you going to buy?"

"Let's look there," He pointed to a store.

We went to every store near the Resto but he got nothing. "Okay maybe there's none of it here, let's just go back." he said.

"Zujin is going to pay for this. It's tiring you know. I don't even know what we are looking for. " I said because my feet feels tired already for walking and only got nothing when we were heading back.

"We're sorry okay? I just need it ASAP." I saw Zujin with her phone in her hands looks like she was contacting us. "What took you so long?"

"We were looking for what you needed and got nothing obviously." I said bluntly. "What is it really?" I glared.

"Girl thing."

"Seriously? This guy of yours didn't even let me know that you're needing that, I have one inside my bag." I informed coldly.

"Forget about that I already made a solution to it. Let's eat inside, Minghao is waiting." Zujin changed the subject.

We entered the cafe and saw Minghao on his phone busy typing. The food was already on the table.

[Minghao's POV]

Minghao: Mom I almost got caught *phew*

Mother: Even better. I can't stand keeping secrets from Y/N anymore. Why do you even have to pretend? She already said it 'SHE LOVES YOU,' take note 'STILL' why don't you just believe her and quit this game your playing I promise you she will get mad if she finds out that all of us know that your amnesia was fake.

Minghao: Mom? It wasn't.

Mother: Well not fake because you are really diagnosed and is really possible because you had hit your head but maybe you two are destined to be together so that's why fate did not let the both of you suffer. How nice, my son is so lucky.

Minghao: Wow mom you just spoiled the whole thing and I'm not going to keep this for too long. Just wanna find the right timing. Thanks for your heartwarming advice.

Mother: TODAY'S THE RIGHT TIME! And don't answer me in a sarcastic way. I'm still your mother!

Minghao: ......

Mother: If you're already back together come back here ASAP with her okay? I want to explain myself.

Minghao: Neeeee.

"Who's that? Your mother?" Y/N asked making me jolt.

"A.. Ah neh waeyo?" I asked back.

"Nothing, just asking?" she replied before eating her cake. "What did she say?"

"Uhmm... Uhhh," I was out of any clue on how to answer her. I glanced at her and I can see that she's waiting for my answer while she's busy eating her cake. "Nothing important just asking if I'm alright." I made a lame excuse. Baksu.

"Maybe after this we can just stroll around for a while and after let's go home. You just got discharge from the hospital you should take a lot of rest instead of hanging out for no good reason." I saw her staring at both Zujin and Jun. I know she got pissed because of what happened a while ago. But if it wasn't for Zujin alibi I would have been caught.

'Let's not keep this for so long do your plan now Minghao.' The phrase keeps on repeating inside my head. I should finish the show now before it gets worse.

"Can we all go on a vacation after a week of rest?" I asked them.

"Why?" Y/N asked confused while Zujin and Jun stayed silent as they already know what I am up to.

I simply lifted my shoulders as a response.

"Okay but no driving," she looked at me straight in the eyes.

"Okay,"

"Okay Jun?" She also asked for a deal with Zujin's boyfriend.

"Hmmkay," Jun replied.

"And besides I don't let him drive Y/N, specially when it's going out for a vacation. In highways? Big No No, both our lives will be in danger." Zujin stood up for Jun. "You shouldn't let Minghao drive in highways too look at what happened." And now she's scolding us.

"That's why I'm making a deal here if we want to go out for much more vacations in the future with the squad let's go the safe way okay? Got that?" She cleared herself.

"We are wasting so much time let's finish our food and go to a park," I suggested.

"We can go to the park at the mall there's a ferris-wheel there and other random sides." Zujin said.

"Okay we'll go there I heard that around 8 o'clock there's fireworks display, we can watch the fireworks while riding the ferris-wheel." I sounded excited.

"Is that even possible?" Y/N asked.

"Nothing is impossible... Plus it will be a great view."
