"Have we got everything? Snacks? The bags? Keys? Yep, I've got the keys. Are we forgetting anything, Steph?" Reece panics, making sure that we have everything for our three hour journey from our house in London to Reece's parent's house in Accrington.

"I don't know, the baby, maybe?" I suggest, joking with him as he has seemed to remember and pack everything, except from our 4 year old daughter, Gracie. His face falls, he genuinely forgot about her. I just shake my head and smile to myself, how did I end up with such a forgetful and stressful husband?

Reece places Gracie in her car seat and straps her in (with great difficulty I might add) and joins me in the front of the car. "Ready to go, babe?" I nod and we get going.

Well, for 5 minutes that is.

"Mama, I need toilet" Gracie calls from her seat in the back. Classic 4 year old. I asked her before we left and she said and I quote "Nope, I'm a big girl, I already went". Obviously, she didn't. Having a toddler is hard work, believe me. Reece looks at me and sighs before pulling over onto the side of the road

"I'll get the potty" I exhale as I get out the car.

Half an hour goes by quickly with Gracie fascinated by the trees going past her window on the motorway.

"How about we listen to some music? How does that sound Munchkin?" Reece asks Gracie excitedly to keep her happy, for a 4 year old, she gets pretty grumpy when she's bored.

Gracie claps and shouts "yeah! Tiger! Tiger! Das rii das ri I really love your tiger... I can't remember the rest" causing Reece and I to laugh. Gracie absolutely adores Reece and the boys' music, which makes me so happy. It's so cute. She's such a daddy's girl and it's adorable. Her favourite song at the moment is Tiger Feet, as you can probably tell.

After an hour of singing and dancing to New Hope Club, Gracie falls asleep in her car seat. I lean back into my chair and close my eyes and appreciate the momentary silence.

"See, Steph? Wasn't that cute?" Reece interrupts my peace and I look at him from the side of my eye. Turning to face him, he takes his hand, that he isn't using to drive, and holds mine, rubbing the back of it softly with his thumb, not taking his eyes off the road. "Are you sure you don't want any more kids? I know we've talked about this but hear me out. Imagine Gracie running around with a little brother or a little sister, she would love it! She loves playing with Lucas and Benjy"

Lucas is George and his wife, Lucy's son, he's 2. While Benjy is Blake and his wife, Bailee's son, he's the same age as Gracie, 4, just short of a few weeks. They really are so cute and we often meet up for play dates. Gracie really enjoys it too.

"Just imagine her with a sibling! Them running around chasing each other, family road trips, just imagine them sitting next to each other in the back of the car having their own little baby conversations! I definitely think that you should at least think about it. 'cause I don't know about you but I need another man in the house." Reece laughs "Plus a mini Reece? Just sounds amazing, doesn't it?!" I smile at the thought of a mini Reece, it would be amazing. He sounds so enthusiastic, I love that about Reece, he's alwasy charismatic and enthusiastic about everything. Even when he's feeling down, tries to keep everyone happy.

I kiss his hand that's in mine and close my eyes and gently drift to sleep imagining the thought of a little green-eyed-blonde-haired version of Reece.

I'm woken up by the sound of a certain 3 year old complaining, with Reece's hand still in mine.
