'My name is Ethan and I grew up in orphanage, it wasn't that bad. Now I'm renting a flat with a friend from college and I'm a part time chef at Carlo' s Restaurant'. Another day from the library, it's getting dark and this part of town isn't t a good place to be around at night, unless you can fend for yourself but chances are you'll get robbed or beaten up and end up dead or in the hospital if you are lucky. It's not like I have much to live for or anything of value except the gold watch my dad gave me. He didn't exactly give it to me, It was inside the basket at which they left me in at the orphanage door along with a letter. Sometimes I get tempted to sell the watch but I think I should give it back to its rightful owner once I find him. Looked behind both of my shoulders to see if anyone is targeting me or following me, you can never be too careful.

It's too quite, maybe it's because most of this buildings are abandoned and only people involved in shady businesses hang out around here. I look around again as I continue walking with my hands deep in my pockets and a hood nearly hiding my face. There's an alley on the right and also a group of creepy people. I walk past the alley hoping to get home in one piece, I kept looking back just in case I was being followed by those guys in the alley. They we're following me, I wasn't surprised at all. This God forbidden place has no mercy for the innocent. You know what they say about the survival instinct, I started running and they chased me. I kept running and running but they were not giving up, at the verge of giving up with a strong wind flowing the opposite. I grabbed a pole before I could be swept away, and if I were to slip I'd die for sure. I heard an odd loud noisy I almost let go of the pole to cover my ears. The noise stopped and some of the trees were blown away.

I was still being followed, but they seemed to be less in numbers than when they started chasing me. I could no longer run, I felt like my knee caps would explode if I continued to run. I saw glowing cubes and spheres near the road sign by the corner of the rainbow park. I looked around but there was no one around but the guys running after me. Curiosity, I picked up three cubes and snuck them into my back pack. They were heavy so I couldn't take one more, i took a few turns and I could and made it to my flat. With a sigh of relief I live to tell the tale, I took the elevator to my flat and my roommate was asleep.

Perfect opportunity for me to figure out what these things are. I head to my room, it's messy as always and the window is still open. I push aside the books on top of the table and put the cubes onto the table and inspect the one glowing with a red light. Doesn't have any buttons, It slipped and fell. It rearranged itself and I noticed it was some kind of high quality technology thing. I connected it with my laptop and by morning I managed to figure out what it was and how it works, it took me all night even though I'm good at technology. It's dated 06-11-3052 which is weird, I kept asking myself "who made this thing? Who dropped it? Where does it come from? Why did they drop it?". I'd bet a million bucks this thing is worth a lot of money. Whoever made it has some mad programming skills. All I have to do is press the activate button and I'll find out what this thing can do. I hid the remaining two under my bed, not so smart but I was in a rush.

Went out to the sitting room, leaving my messy as room as it is. My roommate was already out, I'm kind of grateful that he is a neat freak.
